Excellent stay, didn't want to leave...

We needed a place to stay for a friend's wedding held at the Gainey Ranch Golf Club. She had arranged group rates at a few ... nearby hotels[...]Location: Less than 2-minute drive from Gainey Ranch, though not within walking distance especially in dress clothes and shoes.Environment: Very clean and quiet.Room Quality: The room was better than some of the apartments I lived in during college! It was pretty much an apartment with the bedroom in a separate room. The kitchenette was nice too (though we didn't need it) -- full refrigerator with icemaker, two-burner stove, sink -- complete with dishware and silverware.Sleep Quality: We had a king size bed. OH SO comfortable. There was plenty of room for me, my boyfriend, and the 7-pillow fort I built for myself. The comforter was a nice modern-style duvet -- not the outdated, thin bedspread that you'd find in lesser quality hotels.Bathroom Quality: Really wonderful shower with curved curtain rod. The water pressure was super-strong and the water was hotter than even I can handle! Towels were large and soft.Breakfast: The continental breakfast we had there was much better than most hotels I have stayed at -- including do-it-yourself waffles! That's always a plus for me. The food was very fresh and delicious.Amenities: The pool was very nice. Plenty of chairs and towels. The business center was very convenient. We were from out of town, so we didn't know where anything was. They had two computers for us to use and we were also able to look up and print directions whenever we needed.

If you have the time, do your research on places to eat. I'm a foodie and I appreciate local fare that I can't get at home. We went to two great places to have lunch -- one being a hole in the wall, which I loved! I'm actually craving both meals right now. Yelp.com is a great site to do that kind of research.
