Everything work well. We needed a late check-in and the hotel staff was very helfful and made sure we did not have problems ... checking-in.

Maggie Rita's Tex Mex is right next door. Their dinner menu is a tad over priced but for lunch it's just right and you get PLENTY of food! Have a look!

Everything was great. Superior customer service from staff, very clean, great location. Only negative is some bit of noise ... coming from people in next room. Rooms should be all sound proof, but guess it's like that everywhere. Would definitely stay here again.

The Best Hotel In Houston...?

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during the first weekend in June to attend a cousin's wedding in Houston. The rest of ... the attendees of the wedding stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn just down the street, but due to an error we had to make reservations separately. We were NOT sorry! We arrived on Thursday, just in time for dinner which was amazing. How many other hotels give you free breakfast AND dinner (dinner Monday-Thursday only). Before dinner we went up to our room to unpack and we were shocked by just how big our room was! The kitchen was well stocked and the clean, the whole room was just in great condition. Everything looked new and vibrant. The bathroom was large enough for us both to get ready at the same time and the bed had 7 pillows on it! SEVEN! The front desk staff was always polite and helpful. Each morning's breakfast was large and well stocked--not just fruit and cereal but eggs, sausage, potatoes. It was wonderful and filling! Our few complaints about the hotel: -The Pool is small and indoors. For us, part of the fun of Texas was lounging by the pool in the sun, getting a tan, that sort of thing. Hard to do in an indoor pool. Also, when you enter the pool room you are bombarded by the smell of chlorine. For this reason we didn't get in. We could only imagine how much chlorine must be in the pool to give off that strong a scent! -Vending Machines. Laundry and soda machines were available on every even floor. However, these machines take only coins and there are NO change machines in the hotel. When we asked for change at the front desk we were told they don't keep change. That was a bit frustrating (especially when a can of Coke at the front desk is 1.50 but a 20 ounce from the machine is a dollar!). Our complaints are just those two and over-all we were more then satisfied with our hotel. Even some of the guests that visited from the other hotel said they were jealous about the sheer size of our room, the kitchen, and our free breakfast (all of which we got from Orbitz for the same rate they paid discounted for groups at the Hilton Garden Inn a block away!). If you are in Texas, I definitely recommend staying at this hotel! You won't regret it!
