Very Comfy

It was a great location, I needed to get away within the city and i loved the area. The only thing is that the hotel charges ... for more towels, tissue, soap, ect. I think that should be standard when staying for more than one night. And a charge for the internet as well. Other than that i enjoyed a very quiet, comfortable stay. With an excellent view!!!

Nice extended stay hotel

If one is looking for an extended stay hotel, this location is unsurpassed. The kitchenette is ideal for the person who has a ... restricted diet or likes to prepare his/her own meals. Even if the traveler ignores the kitchenette (as I did), this is still a good place to stay, if only because it is within easy walking distance of the Country Club Plaza; and, it is within a slightly less convenient, but still walkable, distance to Westport. One convenient amenity is the large divided closet. I prefer to hang my clothes. This was easily done. Another amenity that I appreciated was the one level parking. It was convenient, close to my room and elevator, and, even more important, it was not full even though the hotel was full. The only inconvenience to the property was the morning water pressure. It was very low. I had to stand directly under the shower. Bathing this way took over ten minutes just to rinse off. The pressure had been very good just the evening before.

The Country Club Plaza not only has top-of-the-line shopping, including Hall's. Possibly more important, there is a plethora of choices for dining. The Classic Cup and M & S Grill(?) are two of my favorites.

While this hotel is in a great location, the comfort leaves something to be desired. The bed was old and sagged in the ... middle, and the bathroom needed minor repairs. I used to stay in this hotel fairly often, but since the last time, the rate has gone up and the comfort has gone down.

Very Comfy
