Wonderful Experience

The location of the hotel was ideal for shopping, getting around on feet and the beach which is just steps away from the ... dining area of the hotel. You can dine while looking at the ocean. The weather outside was hot but the room was kept cool by the air conditioner. The saff was friendly, the food was good, the hotel and room were very clean. I had a room facing the street, but could not hear the traffic noise, and at nighttime Front Street is very quiet. I traveled on my own but felt quite safe staying there. Late night there is a guard outside the front entrance of the hotel. It was my first time staying there, and I did not encounter any problems. So my family will be visiting and staying at The Holland House hopefully next year. There was nothing that I found wrong at this hotel. I did not encounter any problems, so there is nothing I would change. I really loved the room, the bed was comfortable and I also had a terrace with a beautiful view of the hills and at nighttime the lights coming from the houses in the hills. My family and I travel quite frequently at least twice per year so we have stayed in quite a number of hotels and would rate The Holland House for its service, its location, food, ambience, actually everything overall as excellent.
