I stayed at the Sunspree about ten years ago and it was an average Holiday Inn stay. They've updated and renovated and the ... change was a pleasant surprise. Very pretty, clean rooms with a full fridge and microwave. I love the 3-inch plantation shutters that replaced the curtains! The pool was beautiful and, of course, the beautiful gulf was just steps away. This is my new Panama City Beach destination spot

Travelers beware of the All American cafe just a short drive from the hotel. The place was very dirty and flies every where and the prices was very high.The health department needs to close this place.

We came for our anniversery. The resort was beautiful. Lots of activities, good room, helpful staff, and a beautiful ... location. Great pools, spa, lounge,fitess center, and even a kid's area. Perfect beach access was nice! We had a great time. Next, time we will take the kids.

Restaurant at hotel was not very good, neither service or food. Definitely not worth the $ they charge in restaurant. ... Location and amenities for kids great. Can't beat the kids play area. Had difficult time getting luggage in and out as parking is across the street and carts and help were hard to come by and help not very friendly. The hotel just doesn't make it easy for some reason. The bar at the pool was closed most of the time making it inconvenient to get a mixed drink. The rooms were decent but again, not worth the $ I don't think. I would definitley go back to this beach but probably not stay at this hotel. If I did, it would be so the kids to play at this pool area.

We showed up last two days of spring break. Music pool side loud, noisy. Weekend was some State Dance competition, music ... started at 7:30 AM on Saturday morning. Sunday and days following music lower more enjoyable. Excellent staff, clean rooms. The noise issue at first cannot be blamed on hotel. I should have checked for details on events at Hotel. Great location. Beautiful beach.

I had a balcony room with two queen sized beds. It was just me! More room than any one person could use!!! The hotel staff ... was very friendly and check in was quick. I headed up to the room and changed into my suit as my plan was to sit in the hot tub all night then sit on the beach in the morning. The grounds were incrediably clean and very easy on the eyes with a large amount of foliage and the palm trees everyone is looking for when they go to Florida! As this was thanksgiving weekend, there wasn't hardly a soul to be found so I had my run of the place. This place has an incredible kiddie pool (which wasn't open due to the time of year) that even the adults would probably have a ball in.

The Holiday Inn in Panama City Beach is the best I've seen of its class for security and for the helpfulness of the staff. ... My wife is disabled, and everyone there was ready and willing to go out of their way to assist, were friendly, and knowledgeable on her needs. Movies and shows every night were great. The rooms were clean, the beaches clean, and the location perfect.

the hotel rooms all face the beach and the rooms were very large with two sinks. The pool side music was very nice and the ... staff was wonderful. This hotel is great for families with kids under 10 because of all the activities,Movies and the pool waterpark areas. We had a 17 year old so there wasn't a lot for her to do. The only dining is an upscale dining room or the limited expensive pool side grill. I would of liked to see some kind of breakfast included with the room rate. Overall for families it is a great choice and beautiful grounds with fantastic beaches.

The Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort was out of this world. The service by all of the staff was exceptional and everyone was ... friendly. The rooms were nice and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Every room has a balcony with an exceptional pool and beah view. The grounds and pools were absolutely beautiful. There were plenty of activities for the kids, and there was a dj at the poolside playing music that could even be heard from the beach if you were close enough. We stayed in the off season so all of the bars and grills on the resort were not open, but Panama City has plenty of restaurants. Overall we had a wonderful trip, and would defintely recommend it to anyone. They will definately see us again.
