Great location-dining room, not so great

Dining room,slow. Not really good at giving options ex: breakfast menu/buffet.Waiters not good at giving menus, just really ... suggested buffets which were more expensive. Food was okay, we had dinner there one evening. Room first given had fan running drying carpeting & no phone service but they quickly gave us another room. Room smelled!!!

I would advise it to any business man because it is just in front of the Congress center. It is not too expensive, it is a ... restful hotel, there is a gym center (even though at this time the pool was closed...) and the Chinese style Hall is awesome. The breakfast (not included though) is really good !

I cannot remember the name (maybe "Basil something" which is a cheap and super good Thai restaurant which is at 1-minute walking distance from the Hotel.

Located near China Town and Old Montreal

Hotel is in a good location and clean. China Town is right next store and it is an easy walk to Old Montreal and the Montreal ... Jazz Festival. The Jazz Festival was fantastic! The hotel needs updating. It really should be rated two stars not three when the lamp shades do not even fit the bases of the lamps. The guest room furniture and fixtures are so so. Also did not like the lobby/reception area located on second floor. Hotel dining offered little selection and the prices $$$$

Ok for business

The staff was very friendly but the hotel seemed to be under renovation. The room was large but looked like they never ... upgraded the bathrooms to this decade. It was functional for the $ but pretty uninspiring. The lobby was very nice though. Gym was a joke.
