So So
LJ Aug 22, 2009
The location was great and easily accessible from the MEM airport, however, the facility was filthy. The hallway carpet ... looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months to say the least. The room was dusty and the carpet was dirty. There was dust and debris collecting on the carpet. The corners of the carpet were dirty and dusty and there was dirt gathering behind the TV console and night stand. The carpet under the beds had trash gathering next to the legs of the bed. I was truly afraid to walk on the carpet bare-foot. Tile in the main lobby leading to the rooms on the 3rd floor are broken and need re-sealing. This place needs an upgrade! This hotel did not have a gift shop and I was expecting to purchase a few items.

PK Aug 18, 2009
I was in the Memphis area for a speaking engagement. The hotel was attractive looking, the staff was friendly and tried to be ... accomodating. My bathroom smelled like urine, despite the housekeepings staff best efforts at cleaning the bathroom over in my presence. The smell was either coming from a back up in the sewer system or perhaps it was in the tiles. I was offered another room with no trouble. I fell while there and needed to ice my knee. There was no ice in the ice machine. Again the manager was polite and brought ice up to me right away.

The staff was great. The hotel had shuttle service to downtown Beale Street several times a day, so we were able to visit ... Beale Street anytime of the day. Also, the staff made reservations for us to visit the Casinos located in Mississippi. They were very accommodating throughout our visit. The drivers were great shuttling us not only to Beale Street but to one of the museums that was close by. The only problem we had with the hotel was the location. Although it is conveniently located to the airport when it is time to leave, it was too far from downtown, where the entertainment/dining/night life happens to be. The shuttle was convenient, and operated several times a day, but after 10pm it stops running. Several nights during our stay, my husband and I had to get a taxi to bring us back to the hotel--which was costly.

Joy May 22, 2009
The staff was very friendly. However there were alot of inconsistancies in hotel procedures/hrs of operation. The hotel ... could have been cleaner. For example: the room next door ordered room service and the tray/dirty plates sat in the hall for 3 days. Also, there were a bunch of wet hotel towels that sat on the table at the pool for 2 days! The carpet in the lobby/hallways need to be changed. We were hoping for a free continental breakfast(something simple would have been nice) but the lobby just served coffee. Other than the aforementioned items, staff was personable and tried hard. Rooms/ bedding very clean! Well, you asked.......

well this hotel was very spacious, first impressions when you walk into the lobby is that its lacking something, but as you ... stay in the place, and try out the pool area this is a peaceful heven, really top class place to have your sun and relax, pool beds are as good as a real bed, really nice place but be prepared to hear planes going overhead, you get used to them , other than that its a real good value place and the breakfast area, spotless clean, and good selection of food, butmost of all if the staff could be given stars for friendleness, say out of ten they deserve to get 20 they go above the call of duty to assist thier guests.we had a great stay and would definitly tell others to stay as well.
