It was awful, the whole hallway smells mildew, floors are gubby and out to date, once you walk in the room, its smells like ... cigarettes, supposely the hotel policy was smoke free- but our rooms were not smoke free, and then on top of that, we can smell the next room smoking and then we call the front desk to do something about it,They didn't do anything or try to accomodate us, at least offer to move us I told my husband to go and buy fabreeze to spray in the room and still it didn't even help and when you walk on the floor your feet are dirty due to the carpet being so dirty. it has probably never been clean. And then later on the 2nd day our keys weren't working. It was a long day and then walk all the way aroudn to get our card re swipe, no apology unfriendly. It was horrible not a great expierence

first time stay here, chosen for the good price and proximity to the airport. beautiful hotel, but so large it was very ... difficult to navigate around in, i got lost a couple times even when i thought i was following the signs. room very comfortable, clean, nice coffee maker (a must for me). stayed just one night then off to the airport. would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was avg. to above avg., great location, good swmng pool, and above avg. fitness center. Resort style swmng pool,hot ... spa tub, landscaping very tropical. Only disappointment was the bathrooms which did not have a fan or ventilation, and toilet didn't flush well unless you held the handle down. The staff was friendly and professional. Despite the size of the hotel, it was accessible, and surprisingly quiet.

Check in was fine. We wanted to print something and the front desk clerk pointed to a computer we could use. Printer wasn't ... working and it took forever to get our request done. then we called because our tv remote was not in the room and we had to call twice before someone showed up with one.

NEGATIVE: The room had a faint musty odor. The room did not have a refrigerator. The television was mounted in the wall to ... the side of the bed and did not work. The fitness center only had a lat pull machine, two treadmills and a stationary bike. POSITIVE: Good location right off the 101 so you can get on and off the freeway within one block. We liked the restaraunt. The staff was polite and helpful.

My daughter and I stayed here so we can go to the Jonas Brother concert.It was not too far from the HP Pavilion or dinning. ... She loved staying here, the swimming pool went to 10' deep,I was impressed with this. The room service menu was very small and not a good variety of food. She also like the birds in the lobby. Holiday Inn had a free punch from their punch bowl for guest in the day time, she loved this part. We both enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

I was on a business trip and needed a quite place and short distance from Sunnyvale. Right next to 101 and 808 makes it a ... great location and of course San Jose International airport is within reach. You can walk to the airport (not recommended but sure). There is a train station, bus stop and gas station right outside the hotel. There are places to eat within walkable distance. This makes this hotel perfect for business or holiday. My experience was good while my stay here. The manager was moody once/twice but the staff was good all in all.

Hotel is clean, basic, and a good price. The grounds were very nice. The hotel is next to the 101 which is very loud all ... times of day. If you get a quiet room stay here. If you don't go one block down away from the freeway and there are a lot of hotels.
