The good, the bad and ugly.

Traveling Man Oct 26, 2009

The Good. The hotel was in a good location for my trip since the place I was working was only a mile away, But if you wanted ... to catch a taxi down town it would cost $50.00 or more for the trip. The Bad. With all the road construction in the area the restaurant in the hotel was really the best option even if it was extremely over priced., as all hotels with a restaurant are. Housekeeping did not get to my room until after 4:00 each day, I would return from work to find nothing has been done to the room. They would show up while I was in the shower or I would have to wait till they did come clean the room till I could clean up and relax. The Ugly!!! While staying there I meet up with another worker from Canada, he spent two nights in the hotel and on his last night there his new car was stolen from the "secured parking area"!!! With no way to get home that day the hotel was not willing to help him with staying another night at a discount price. They said that would be an admittance of guilt! You would think they would do something for a guy who had this happen at their hotel. My next trip to Montreal will NOT include this hotel.

Holiday Inn Disappointment

TRAVELING MOM Aug 7, 2009

After requesting a non-smoking room I received one that someone had been smoking in. After changing the room, I discovered ... the 2nd room was missing a black out curtain and the 3 rd room was missing items like a rubber bath mat for the tub. This is a lack of staff to take care of the details.

Convenient to Airport

Michael Oct 9, 2008

Would recommend to a friend!

Holiday Inn Montreal-Airport is close to the airport, the hotel provides a shuttle. The room was clean and the staff was very ... friendly and helpful. There is a shopping mall nearby with a variety of restaurants and a movie theatre, however, you will need a car. There is a rental car agency in the lobby of the hotel.

Fast and Easy

Matthew Oct 9, 2008

The Holiday Inn MONTREAL-AIRPORT, Montreal, CA was easy to get to. It was nicely priced and check in was very easy. The ... room was different than I expected, very small bathroom and a seperate area for the sink and mirror. My first night the TV remote did not work, but it was fixed or changed out by the time I arrived back for my second night. I was dissapointed that there was not some form of a free breakfast, and the menu price for breakfast items seemed a little high. All in all it was a decent stay.

Spiders

Riaz Aug 31, 2008

All I can say is that I spotted and killed three spiders in my room. Doesn't matter if the hotel/resort had a bit of a ... tropical theme going on, having insects in your room doesn't help. There was one directly above my bed, and one I spotted in the clothing I had left in the bathroom. The location was ridiculous. We were on one side of the highway but there weren't any amenities on this side of the highway. They were all on the other side and the roads are very confusing in Montreal so naturally I couldn't get back to the hotel the first time I went to grab a bite. The hotel didn't have a proper map for visitors to take so they don't get lost. All they had were bad photocopies of the map of the area. Oh the worst thing was that when I called room service to get me a couple of plates, they transferred me to the restaurant and the restaurant subsequently told me that I should come and get the plates myself from there if I needed it. GOOD SERVICE!!! I'm not staying there again.

Great location

David Aug 21, 2008

Would recommend to a friend!

What this hotel has going for it is that it is two blocks south of a terrific eclectic area in Montreal called the Latin ... Quarter. Great night life, lots of restraunts and funny people. Kind of like Haite Ashbury 60's feeling. We loved the Latin Quarter. The hotel is a little old and the bathroom grubby tile etc, but it was a very good value considering the location. The restraunt is a little expensive but good service.

besides location, great hotel

Pinkesh Jun 12, 2008

Would recommend to a friend!

The airport Holiday Inn was a great hotel, but in a bad location. There was no way of getting anywhere besides cab ($35 to ... downtown) and not near any public transportation. Though there is an airport shuttle for free, hard time getting anywhere else. Only restaurant open after 10 within miles is the hotel restaurant. However, the hotel itself was much nicer than expected, rooms were clean and it had a very nice inside, with a tropical motif.

the Holiday Montreal Inn-Airport in Canada was comfortable, althought it didn't have a kitchenette, like I requested it did ... have a microwave and a small refrigerator, we manage, the room was small not enough room for four adults, so that was a disappointment, there was a table and two chairs, but no privacy, just a room. The restaurant service was good including the food, and there were other restaurants around the area close by. other then that the maid service was great room was clean very day, transportation was close to the Hotel, if you didn't have a car, you could take the Bus that would take you to the Metro to go downtown, that wasn't to bad.
