When looking for a hotel I didn't want to spend a lot of money for a last minute weekend getaway but I wanted a place that ... was clean. I'm very happy with the hotel. We didn't get up early enough for the breakfast, but our room was very clean. The man at the front desk and the housekeeping staff were very helpful and polite. The pool was small but very nice, max depth is 5ft, and there's plenty of chairs. This hotel has the triple sheeting which I was really impressed by. (No nasty comforter, a duvet with sheets on either side and a big throw blanket at the foot of the bed.) I was concerned at check-in there was a woman complaining of a foul odor. When I got into my room it smelled stuffy, after letting the AC run for a short time it smelled fine. One surprise I had was the shuttle service that they offer to AC isn't free on the weekends but they offered free slot dollars at the Trop. We didn't want to gamble so it seemed like a waste.

We checked out the Ripley's Believe it or Not Muesem on the AC boardwalk. It was a very neat self guided tour with a lot of interesting sights in it, we spent about an hour in there and it's open late!

Our trip included a show in Atlantic City, sightseeing and dining out. Getting to Atlantic City was very easy. The price was ... much more affordable than staying in the hotels in Atlantic City. The hotel was very clean, quiet and the free breakfast was more than adequate with a helpful waitstaff. The front desk personnel were very friendly and efficient and we received a complimentary USA Today Newspaper. The parking lot was very well lit which provided a sense of safety.

The Pier Shops and restaurants at the Ceasars Hotel are worth a visit with a wonderful variety of food choices.

It advertised shuttle service to Atlantic City but did not specify that if it was over a weekend you had to pay $20/person ... for it. Shuttle did not come at the times we were told it would be there. Hotel was very noisy and even though I booked for 4 we only had towels for 2 and no bathmat. Wasn't terrible but was disappointing. Also, they were giving out "goody bags" to some but not all patrons. As for the breakfast the area was so crowded it took quite a while of standing in line and items were not refilled as often as they should have been.

Trying to eat at their complimentary beakfast was very difficult due to crowding.

The staff told us to call with questions, but made it pretty clear he would rather not hear from us! It was a trek to travel ... from the room to the lobby for the breakfast. And just what were those "eggs" made of? Would have been helpful to have a map of the area and some idea of how to get around.

The Three Amigas Jul 5, 2009
The cleaning staff was very friendly, thorough, and very efficient. Since there was three of us staying in a two bed room, ... we had to ask for an extra towel everyday and that was always brought up with a smile. Also, when we left the hotel room late in the day, our room would be clean when we came back. However, other staff members was not very friendly. When we asked for pool towels, the man in the front desk slammed two bags of towels down and asked us to take them to the pool. When we were by the pool, a man came by cleaning the area and complained to us about people being slobs and not picking up their messes. However, since there was not receptacle to put dirty towels people just left them on the ground. Also, the people sitting before us in the pool chairs left open alcholic beverage containers there and the man blamed us for them.
