Clean, Friendly, and Easy!
Abby979 Oct 20, 2009
My boyfriend and I have stayed at this same hotel for the last three years. The beds and bedding are GREAT. They are super ... comfy and always clean. After the renovation this past Spring, it's even better. They pretty much just updated the aesthetics and added fridges and microwaves in the rooms, but we LOVED the changes. [...], at the front desk, is SO friendly. She's worked there since we first started traveling and always helps us find places to go and calls ahead to restaurants for us. The location of the hotel is ideal. You're right off of I-44, so it's easy to get in and out, and you're only a $5.00 cab ride from downtown without having to pay to park. Our only complaint is that there's no hot-tub, but other than that we'll keep coming back, for sure!

Great stay
jpsmom97 Oct 6, 2009
We chose this hotel after I didn't book a second night closer to Busch stadium, I was pleasantly surprised!! The room was ... almost a suite with a fridge, microwave and couch. I am a TV person and the large flat screen TV was wonderful. When we checked in we noticed the TV was fuzzy. As we went to get some dinner, the desk clerk asked if everything was ok, I mentioned the TV and when we returned less than 30 minutes later, it was fixed.....awesome service!

The St. Louis Zoo is fabulous! Free admission, pay to park or park in Forest Park and walk in. Up close with the animals. The Science Center is a don't miss too. A trip to St. Louis must include a stop (or 2) to Ted Drews Frozen Custard on Hampton Ave.

Great Place to Stay!
Traveller Sep 22, 2009
This was a very nice hotel, very clean, top notch amenities, very large room! The pool and breakfast were great. The only ... downside was that you had to drive a ways to get to restaraunts and such, because it was near a bad part of town.

Changed rooms, still no A/C ugh
Friends Sep 21, 2009
Very nice hotel, breakfast a nice amenity. However, the a/c in the first room didn't work. When we called the desk, the ... relocated us to an even nicer room (suite) but the a/c didn't work in that room either!!! Ugh. Everything else about our stay was very top notch... rooms were clean, nice bedding, towels, solid mattress, etc.

Good location, but under construction
JW Apr 22, 2009
Although this hotel was under construction, it provides a decent lodging facility. The kids played in the small pool. When ... bedding was requested for the sofa bed, a pillow couldn't be provided and the desk clerk made it clear that she had to pull the additional towels out of the dryer. All in all, I would stay there again, but don't go there if you're expecting 5 star service and accomodations.

Great location and very clean
Jennifer Sep 15, 2007
The location right off I-55 and close to all the great St. Louis attractions. It was clean and the staff were friendly. The ... quality of the neighborhood was a little spotty but a brand new condo is being built across the street which will improve the area significantly. The rooms were comfy and clean with plenty of space for 2 people to spread out.

The Holiday Inn Express in St. Louis met my family's needs at a reasonable price. The room was comfortable in every way. ... The queen beds were soft and offered both soft and firm pillows. The free breakfast was amazing- everything from cereal, fruit, and muffins to biscuits and gravy and cinnamon rolls.
