Friendly helpful staff. Clean, quite room set-up for business traveler - Free Internet, Desk. I need firm beds so the bed ... was too soft for me. Enjoyed quick breakfast and happy hour.

There were six of us traveling so we had asked for two rooms. We had no complaints with one room. There was a mildewy smell ... in the second bathroom though. We would stay there again.

dont miss Chuy's Hula hut as you can eat on the water. Use Riverside right from the hotel and it will bring you quite close to the Hula Hut. Check maps for better details.

Hotel was very nice BUT I was surprised upon check in that they required a deposit of $150.00, due to the fact that my ... reservations were booked & paid for thru a 3rd party. I am waiting to see if I get the money refunded (per the front desk)

The hotel was fine, although it was located far away from most restaurants and theaters and downtown. We spent a lot of money ... on cabs. It was about 20 bucks to get anywhere from this hotel.

This is a pretty modern hotel, and it's very well kept up. The rooms are great with plenty of space and amenities. And quiet. ... Even though our room directly overlooked a fairly busy highway, we never heard road noises at all! Beds were soft. The continental breakfast had a very good selection, was well stocked, and clean. The location in southeast Austin keeps you out of the busy traffic and well positioned to easily get to interstate-35 or downtown.

Everything was great. I was a bit worried it would be too far from downtown Austin, but this was not so. Right next to the ... Hotel is a Denny's, but downtown Austin is packed with restauraunts. We loved our clean spacious room and the hotel staff was very friendly. There is a gas station on the corner near the hotel which was an added convenience for us. Free internet access was also a bonus. The breakfast offered eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy for hot foods. There was cereal, danishes, fruit, yogurt and hard boiled eggs for cold food. I am sure I left some stuff out of the breakfast buffet. It was not gourmet but was great for a snack to hold us off until a late lunch. I would definately recommend this hotel for anyone that wants to explore Austin. Oh I almost forgot, not far south of this hotel there is THE BEST shopping outlet on 35. We only were able to spend about 4 hours walking around the outlets and I doubt if we covered a fourth of the stores.
