They almost care enough

The sign in the manager's room (visible from the front desk) says a lot about this hotel. 1. No Drama(including gossip) 2. ... Feedback is a gift. To their credit, the staff was polite, but I don't think the cleanup crew tries hard enough. Our room was clean looking until you sat in the bed and noticed a strange smell like sleeping in someone else's bed. My allergies went crazy in this room all night. The heater had a sweet spot at 67 degrees, but when you took it up to 68 degrees, it wouldn't shut off and made the room hot. Our shower had mold along the edges of the tub.

Checking in was a hassel. Holiday Inn had 2 different confirmation numbers (4 rooms instead of 2)[...] I killed 2 ... bugs(alive)in my room and the other room had a smokers burn in the covers (non-smoking room). Their satisfaction card was supposed to be left at the front desk.I tend to think they threw the bad evaluations away. They served a breakfast bar but were out of certain essentials like milk and some trays were empty for a long time before being checked.

Great time in Baltimore
Super cop Sep 28, 2009
We were very impressed with the staff at the hotel. I am sorry that I don't recall their names, but the two ladies that were ... working the front desk at about noon on Saturday were just above nice. We arrived much earlier than expected but because they had our room already cleaned they let us check in at about 1. The shuttle service was very good, and definitely needed. The hotel is not actually in the Inner Harbor and a little far to walk to the baseball game or the Inner Harbor area, especially at night. It certainly is not too far for the football stadium. The shuttle drivers were both very friendly and right on time. The breakfast buffet comes with the room, and was excellent. It was a large room, and very crowded, but the staff did a great job of keeping food available. They could use one more toaster, but other than that it was tremendous. We were in a suite, and it was large, clean, loaded with amenities including 2 flat screen televisions, and a Jacuzzi tub. Sadly, there was a problem with the tub so we could not use it. Honestly, we probably would not have had time anyway. Plus, they removed the parking fee from the bill, something I did not even ask them to do. That was an awfully nice thing to do. All in all, this was an excellent place to stay if you are visiting Baltimore and don't want to drive to the attractions.

Went the last weekend of summer & the pool was closed although we were told it would be open before we arrived (fri 80, sat ... 75,sun 72). Rough neighborhood with nothing within a mile (not a safe walk). They do provide a shuttle to area attractions but it stops at midnight.Nice people nice rooms okay for a place to crash it served its purpose for us.

The front desk staff are great. They worked with me on my request, specially having the flower ready in our room before we ... get there. She was surprise and very happy as we open that door and her flower are there. Special thanks to [...] for making that happen. The only thing that I didn't like is one of the breakfast staff. We got there for breakfast at 9:45am and she started wrapping things up, did not even offer "You can still get some from here" she just look at us and continue of what she's doing. The breakfast starts at 6:00am until 10:00am, 9:45am all are gone. Also I was shock when I found out that there is a daily parking fee that is not mention on the website.

I will never use orbitz again to book a vacation. The location is in the ghetto. When I arrived I realized we were in ... trouble, I went to the customer service desk and asked for a manager. As she sucked her teeth she said you need to talk to orbitz. I called orbitz and told them they returned part of my money and said the manger had the say as to wheter I would recieve all of it. They kept part of my money and I never went past the lobby.Orbitz beleieved her over me about the location. Please do your own research about this location.I feel orbitz and Holiday Inn could have done better. The property around the hotel have busted out windows with boards on them. People on milk crates drinking and laying on the ground. People walking up to you and trying to wash your windows. Please Please becareful before booking.........

There's someone in my bed!
Dan May 26, 2009
The hotel itself was clean, however, after check in, we went out to get dinner and see the town. Upon returning we went to ... our room to see a hooker knocking on our door. She said "is this your room? My friend is in there." Our keys would not work, went to the front desk, they had issued new keys and let a "john" in our room. Without ID! I returned to the room. Pounded on the door until he finally opened. Security was telling ME to calm down and that I would wake the other guests. Finally got in. Thank god nothing was stolen. Like my Car Keys, cell phone, IPOD. Manager on duty, Darryl, said "these things happen and was an honest mistake!" Are you kidding me? I had to show ID to get the room, they should never give a key. This is unacceptable.

After being on the road for 4 days it was a great relief to stay at the Holiday Inn express. Everything was top shelf. ... Sitting in the oversized whirpool watching ESPN on the large flat panel screen was the highlight!! The bedding was so comfortable.
