The rooms were clean. Comfortable mattresses! Great hot and cold breakfast! Staff moved our room when the heater didn't ... work-heating system could use upgrade. The price was right!!

Would recommend to a friend!

The price was right, the location was great, the beds were comfortable. The water pressure in the shower could be a little ... better, and the carpets could be replaced, but the staff was excellent and the continental breakfast was good. Overall I give it a rating of very good!!

The first room that I was given had a door that did not lock when you left the room. I did not realize it until the second ... day when I left the keycard in the room and went back to retrieve it. I was tranferred to the room next door, but it made me late for an important meeting.When checking out, I asked for a receipt or some verification of my stay and my departure date and was told that I could not receive anything from the hotel and I would have to contact the internet service [...] for anything at all!Every stay at a hotel(hundreds) has provided, on request, some documentation. I was upset.

it will be a lot more enjoyable if the room was heated. We had to put the heat in the room and wait for the room to be in a ... good/confortable temperature.

It worked for what we needed it for. My husband commutes 1.5 hrs one-way to work and my son and I got this hotel room so he ... wouldn't have to drive home and could rest more that night. Good place to stay if all you need it for is a bed/shower.

we just needed a good night's sleep. we arrived late and enjoyed the comfortable bed, multiple pillows and wonderful linen ... covered bed cover. all made for a super nights sleep!

Very unhappy with the room The carpet was very damp (wet) and very dirty. when wiping a napkin across floor is was ... black The room had a very strong odor of deodorizer when we opened the door. Also, at times we thought we could smell cat urine. Maybe that was the reason for the deodorizer.?????? The bed had visible stains, (white) on the covers. The bathtub had not been cleaned. When wiping a tissue over the surface is showed grime and the drain screen wasn't cleaned. Otherwise the room was mostly clean. When reported to the front desk, these items were attempted to be cleaned. All these things were reported to the manager. We were not offered any compensation for this reservation.

The Holiday Inn Express ALBANY-LATHAM AIRPORT, LATHAM, NY, was a decent place but needed TLC and updating to be worth my ... returning or referring anyone.

The staff was genuinely very welcoming upon check-in. It was clear by their actions and attitudes that they truly believed ... in making a very positive first impression (as was stated on the buttons that they wore). We both felt very comfortable. They were especially flexible and resilient in allowing us to stay a little past checkout time to change clothes when we finally returned to our room after having stood in the rain for 3 hours in an outdoor graduation ceremony. I highly recommend this hotel to others staying in this area for visiting a student at Rennselear Polytechnic Institute just across the Hudson River. Although we did not use their dining facilities, they did have a very comprehensive restaurant list with helpful selection remarks and directions. We both had a very positive experience.
