Location was perfect. Outdoor concert just next to hotel. Great facilities on the beach. Good dining. Club floor ... definitely worth the extra money. Only complaint no hair dryer and when called and they said they would send one up it never came. Valet parking very easy. Rooftop pool and bar lots of fun.

Great location
Beach Girl May 25, 2009
Didn't receive welcome package until the second day we were there which had vouchers for beach chairs that we had already ... rented for two days at $15 dollars a chair. The hotel did comp us for those, however. Valet parking and help with your luggage was a little lacking. Had to start doing it yourself before someone noticed and came over to help halfway through the process. Maid service was marginal, especially if you enjoy coffee. Cups were not cleaned out and creams/surgars/sweetners were not replaced. Rental of movies are way to expensive! $15 Restraunt service was VERY slow and LONG waits. Should be better prepared for holiday weekends to have an ample staff for a more pleasant experience. Great location, beautiful hotel.... would stay again, however, would hope some of the things mentioned above are improved on to make the room charge not so painful! Thanks! D.

Beautiful Hotel/Misleading options
Lolita May 20, 2009
The hotel was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Overall, the service was excellent. Speedy room service. Great valet ... service. Personal shuttle service if requested. Some of the staff seemed a little snobby. Maid service was not good. (Trash cans not emptied, beds not made well, cups not cleaned.) I felt very misled by the wording for the accomodations. I paid extra for an Ocean View room. I did not realize that I had to look around the corner to see the Ocean. The Ocean "Front" rooms cannot be reserved and are on a first come, first served basis. The reason that I spent so much for this hotel was to have an Ocean Front room. It really put a huge damper on my vacation. The hotel had bands playing until late into the night. If I had known, I would have requested a room on a higher floor. We were on the 12th floor and it was very loud even at that level. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel. Just a few issues that we did not allow to spoil our vacation. If I went to Virginia Beach again, I would find a hotel in which I could reserve an Ocean "Front" room and that was a little quieter.

If you visit this hotel, spend the extra for a club level room, the extras, and benefits, make it worth it. There is an ... amazing continental breakfast, hourderves, snacks, and desserts, throughout the day,a complementary juice bar, and the availability of a partial bar in the afternoon. Staff is amazing, and the dining options are great for seafood lovers.

Hilton ~ Virginia Beach Oceanfront
Julia May 4, 2009
The hotel room was a terrible view, so we had to pay to have an upgrade - many rooms were empty, so this was a surprise. The ... hotel outdoor pool was being renovated - needless to say that the outdoor pool was empty and unusable ~ there was much noise while one was on the deck sunning or in the hot tub. The interior pool was really nice and the children loved it. The swimming at night was really cool, as the lights at the pool were very colorful and made their experience remberable.

Wonderful!!!
Ben Mellow Cello May 2, 2009
When I booked the reservation, I got a "city view" room. This room on the 7th floor on the north side of the hotel had a ... great ocean view and overlooked the Neptune statue. Wow! My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary April 23rd, a great time to be at this hotel. We avoided the crowds of June and July. They keep their romantically lighted indoor pool open until 10:00 pm. We had it all to ourselves. Then we ventured out to the rooftop hot tub, again just the two of us. Could it have been better? Yes, it got even better. The restaurant was fantastic! My grouper and my wife's salmon were superb and so was the service. Then, the hotel treated us to dessert since it was our anniversary. The apple cobbler was amazing! The next morning we chose to have breakfast outside in the ideal weather with a wonderful view of the bordwalk with its endless activity. The service and the food couldn't have been better. We've never had a more lovely breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel and would go back in a heartbeat.

The hotel in general was impressive. The restaurants inside were exceptional! The skybar at the top was extremely cool. I ... would definitely go back and plan to over the summer. It could be good for families, but I enjoyed it more with my husband as a getaway! Highly recommended.
