We planned this trip to get together with an old friend. We enjoyed our stay very much. One thing I didn't like was the ... $9.95/day charge for internet access. The hotel bar has a nice, relaxing atmosphere, which was great to sit and visit.

I enjoy the Hilton by Busch Stadium, the first time I stayed there we were over looking Busch Stadium and the room seemed ... much bigger. This time I had a view of the Arch and it seemed smaller and noisier. In any case I still enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others.

St.Louis Hilton
Katie Oct 18, 2009
The location of the hotel was perfect. We went to the last two Cardinal games of the season. The hotel was nice. The part ... of the building that we were in must have been the older part. The ceiling was in need of some repair as were some of the walls. Overall it was a great experience and I would stay here again.

Location vs Quality
Just A Weekend Getaway Oct 11, 2009
The hotel encouraged me to get out as much as possible. The location was excellent but I sacrifaced quality. I have ... traveled for a previous company switching from hotels every week and the Hilton is one that I have all ways tried talking them into but never happened. Since I was going on a 5 year anniversary vacation with the misses, I decided it was time. We booked the room about 3 months in advanced picking the King Superior. Pulling up to the hotel and being greeted with helping hands was great!!! But...when we opened the room door with smiling faces, I realized that I have stayed in Holiday Inns that would put this hotel to shame. The ac/heater was leaking onto the carper along the wall between the bed. The shower head would just fall pointing straight down everytime you tried to position it. Tv was going in and out the whole time. The first maid did not replace the coffee (which was horrible by the way so bring your own). The second maid was impressive and thorough. The hotel could not move us to a different room due to being booked up...I can not blame them for that considering the play-off game was Saturday. The food at the restaurant/bar located on the lower level has some great food/prices but the service couldn't touch McDonald's. Overall....I am pretty disappointed in the room and really felt like I took a step down even though I paid extra for the King Superior Room.

Overpriced. Parking expensive.
STL Visitor Sep 29, 2009
The view of the arch was okay but obstructed. I'm sure this hotel is great for people going to a conference, etc. However, ... if you just want a clean room and a decent price, this is not the hotel for you. Try the Drury. They have happy hour, free breakfast, and we really thought the staff had a great attitude. I will say that the Hilton staff was cooperative in that they credited us for our $24/night parking due to the incredible noisy guests that kept us awake.

Great Location - Reasonable Price
cheryl k Sep 8, 2009
This is a very nice hotel and the location can't be beat. My partner and I went to St. Louis for Stage 1 of the Tour of ... Missouri so choosing a hotel that was downtown, near the course, and within walking distance of restaurants, parks, and the riverfront, was important to us. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was a little on the small side but for just the two of us it was adequate. The view of the arch and the park across the street more than made up for the coziness of it. (Not that cozy is a bad thing.) The staff was attentive and courteous. In a nutshell, we were very pleased with our stay.

Good hotel in a great location BUT hotel parking was a nightmare. Parking is down the street at one of the ramps. I didn't ... want to pay extra for valet parking so after unloading the luggage I decided to park myself. There was a huge line of cars unloading and waiting to unload and I was stuck trying to get around them. I ended up brushing against the curb with my tire and now my rim has curb rash. Very unhappy about this part of the experience.

The tub had soap scum. Yuck! The previous guests' hair and ick was pushed up into the corner behind the door. The previous ... guests' trash was still in the floor of the bathroom. And the furniture was dusty! It was gross and the sign on the door said that the room went for $299 per night! Then when I finally got to leave, I called the front desk to check out and the hotel staff member hung up on me!Never again.

There is a FREE shuttle that goes to Lumiere Place casino. This will get you down to LaClede Landing. There are quite a few places to hang out down there and when you are done, you can catch the shuttle back to the hotel. Had to wait a bit for the return shuttle, but better than driving and don't think I'd even try walking back at night.
