Charles DeGaulle Hilton
LarryG Nov 3, 2009
The Hilton was well located for our purposes and the staff was helpful and met all our needs. The difficulties we had were ... the bed, which was similar to concrete, the wi-fi internet fees which were exorbitant, and the rest of the exorbitant prices for food and beverages. I know it is Europe and the dollar is weak, but these prices were far beyond my expectations. In Paris many of the hotels have free wi-fi, plus there is competition for your attendance at many restaurants. I guess Hilton just thinks you are trapped at their place.

Nice But Far
Couple from LA Oct 14, 2009
We wanted to stay somewhere near the airport, as we arrived in Paris very late (after 11 pm). We were told[...] that we ... could simply call the hotel to have the shuttle pick us up for free, even though it was late. We soon discoverd that that was not the case, as the shuttle was "not available" then. This was disappointing because we were forced to take a cab that cost us about $17 even though the hotel was so close. Aside from that misrepresentation, the hotel was very nice. Quiet. Clean. Spacious. We also liked the fact that it had a gym. And the staff was helpful. One other thing to consider is that the hotel may be better suited for business people. It is far from the city center, requiring travelers to purchase day passes for the Metro (which can be expensive). In addition, the meals were very expensive, but affordable for those with a business stipend - 34 euro (about $50) for a club sandwich and two beers!

Nice hotel, close to the Airport
One nighter Oct 13, 2009
Only stayed for 1 night, so I didn't get to experience much of the hotel. The internet access was extremely slow though; ... ended up giving up on a videoconference session I was running due to horrible packet loss. Also saw some reviews saying that the bus service was not as frequent as it could have been - my experience was that I waited about 15 min to catch the bus to the hotel from the airport (at 7pm) and about 2 minutes to catch the bus from the hotel to the airport (at 9am).

Hilton hotel rips you off at cdg
joel Jun 4, 2009
28 euro for internet, 2 euro for use of 800 numbers, and lousy food says it all. My gold Hilton card that expires in august ... 2009 was also tunrd down because the "they changed computer systems and I was downgraded. Room were fine. Shuttle works. but the 28 euro for 24 hours or 10 for 1 hour of internet is not good. The 800 number thing made it impossible for us to use our telecarte to find other hotels easily. No sim card at CDG is also a pain.

best airport hotel ever
pretty picky May 25, 2009
This is the perfect hotel for winding down a trip. It is a beautiful hotel with very friendly, professional staff. A great ... dinner buffet- my favorite part was the large selection of great french cheeses. A fun place to watch the airplanes coming and going, but still very quiet.

After getting off the metro at the Charles de Gaulle airport we inquired about the hotel shuttle and to our happy surprise the French info lady just pointed to the hotel right outside-a 2 minute walk. The next morning, we skipped taking the shuttle to the airport because it only took 5 or 10 minutes to walk.

Excellent hotel

I had had a long flight and was very tired. The staff welcomed me and quickly got me to my room. It was immaculately clean, ... and very stylish. I was able to sleep very peacefully. Great included breakfast, and so convenient to the airport with a free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes. Nothing whatsoever to say in the way of a negative.

Luxury all the way.

We stayed one night at the Hilton Paris CDG on our way home to San Francisco (from Vienna). They provided free shuttle from ... the airport and back. Front desk staff was efficient and very professional. Room was spotless and enormous for any standards (US or Europe). Hotel was quiet even though the airport was nearby. Breakfast buffet was very good with lots of variety. We're very satisfied with the Hilton and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended to anyone!

A luxurious rest between flights
Ann Marie Jul 24, 2008
The Paris Hilton was quite luxurious. Free transportation from CDG was quick, frequent and easy. We stayed only one night ... and had an early morning flight the next day, so we did not get to try the restaurant. The room was immaculately clean. Free in room coffee/tea was a nice touch. Staff friendly and professional.
