Excellent new MPLS hotel!
Ducrider 900 Nov 18, 2009
All hotel staff were EXTREMELY friendly, curteous, and knowledgeable. The room was spotless, and also VERY quiet. The TV ... worked great. The shower was strong, and the water was hot. More than enough towels. Pretty short drive from and to the airport. I will definitely stay here whenever I come to MPLS/St. Paul for business

Hilton Garden - Minneapolis
AV695 Oct 26, 2009
Building is new so it has no cracked countertops, etc and appears very clean. The only parking options are Valet ($24/day) ... or leaving your car on the street in downtown Minneapolis. I was on the side of the building facing away from the freeway and had some traffic noise from trucks, but cars were muted. Overall a very good place to stay in downtown Minneapolis.

Nice Hotel at a Good Price
Bob Oct 26, 2009
We liked the staff. We liked the fact that the bathroom products were changed daily except we didn't want our towels washed ... every day and as a result left them hanging but they were replaced anyway. We liked the recycle bins and efforts to be green.

We came to Minneapolis for the first time for a wedding. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, except for only ... offering valet parking as an option.

Minneapolis Hilton Garden Hotel
Conferee Sep 27, 2009
Great service. Excellent location (across the street from the convention center). Very clean. Better service than at the ... Hilton Millennium (where we mistakenly went to first). Restaurant was just so so but there were plenty of others within a short walk. If going to a conference in Minneapolis this is definitely where I'd stay.

Minn. Convention Center Stay
Mee-mo Sep 21, 2009
The tv did not have good reception, even though they did their best to fix it. They did comp us a couple of meals and ... apologized, but i would recc that one ck the tv before accepting the room. Also the bed did not seem to actually adjust as advertised, no big deal since it was comfy to us at whatever adj it was in, but just ck. Very nice people at every post, restauarant was very nice, fairly priced and some tables even have their own tv! Friends liked the pool, but as you can see, we are more the tv-type, so....we did not try it out....the shower pressure was low, prob they have water=saver shower heads, so this was not a severe low pressure prob. We would stay again if event is in the convention center, very convenient to the center and the highway.

This was a really nice place to stay the room was really clean and everything else was to. They have no onsite parking lots ... but there is parking in the street for free on the weekend. The staff was really helpfull on any questions i had when i arrived there. The room we stayed in had a mini fridge and our own microwave and coffee maker which was really nice in my opinion.

Great hotel but no free parking
bigS Aug 28, 2009
The hotel is in a nice downtown area with restaurants at a walkable distance. Staff is friendly. The only thing I didn't like ... was the absence of any free parking options at the hotel or nearby areas. I'm not surprised though, because it's usually the case with every downtown hotel. The best part was the deal I got through Orbitz!

I went to MN for a Tastefully Simple National Confrence. My hotel was a block away so easy waking distance. The staff was ... amazing and so very friendly. I heard from others that they did not like their hotels and I am so glad I chose this hotel. I will most definetly stay here again for next years confrence.

Great place to stay on a business trip
Brandon Jun 1, 2009
I had a late check-in and it went smooth. The bed was incredible and I slept wonderfully. The bathroom was super clean and ... very nice. The heater/air-conditioning was operated with a touch screen and it was very easy to make the room the exact temperature I wanted. The fitness center and pool were likewise very clean. They weren't big but more than adequate for a bit of exercise. All the staff I encountered were very friendly. Check-out was super smooth as well. For the price this was truly the best hotel experience I have ever had. Not taking into account the price it was still way up there and I travel for business pretty regularly.
