Clean & Comfortable
Shaw's Oct 29, 2009
We stayed 2 nights to drive up to the Grand Canyon. The room was clean, nothing spectacular but all we needed was a place to ... sleep. We didn't use the pool, so I can't comment on that. The front desk staff was awesome. Very friendly, gave us directions and always with a smile.

No refund with Orbitz
Jerry Sep 18, 2009
We had to delay for 1 day due to illness. Orbitz had a no refund policy. Had we booked directly with the hotel, we could ... have saved our money. So we booked with the hotel for the next night. Next time we will always book with the hotel.

Great Hotel
Terri Aug 2, 2009
We went to Flagstaff to watch the Cardinals at training camp which was only five minutes away. They even let us check in ... early at 1:00. The room was nice and clean. One thing that would have made it better would have been a breakfast included. They charged $9.99 which was a little high. I would not advise anyone to eat at CoCos next door - the food was not very good. I would suggest Sizzler which is right across the street. There are restaurants all along the street and a Walmart and Kohls closs by. The staff was friendly from beginning to end.

Great Spot for the $$

From the moment we got there, the hotel staff went above and beyond as far as sights, directions, rental cars etc. The ... staff, including the house keeping staff, and restaurant staff were so pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel.

What a disappointment
Will not return Jul 3, 2009
My wife and I and two kids stayed in this hotel for a night. The hotel experience was such a disappointment to us. 1) We ... arrived passed mid night after driving from the north rim of Grand Canyon. It took about 5 plus minutes to wake up the on duty staff to let us get into the lobby. 2) When my wife about to take a shower, she discovered at least two pinkish mushy spots in the middle of the shower wall. I called the front desk staff in and was told it might be some uncleaned shaving cream. Though the staff wiped it clean for us right away, I do not think it is something the house keeping staff should miss. The hotel staff told us he would leave a note to his colleague and we might be entitled to a rate deduction. 3)The noise of flushing the toilet was quite a surprise to us. Cannot remember the name of the brand. 4)In the middle of the night, my wife had to get up and unplugged the noisy refrigerator so that everyone can sleep. The next morning, I made a complaint to front desk and asked for a rate deduction as suggested but was not granted. I asked breakfast on the house instead. They then agreed. But the AAA tour book indicating all hotel guests get Wi-Fi and free breakfast! Believe or not, when we checked out, I found our SUV's rear window had two dusty hand prints near the opening switch. I am not sure if someone was trying to break in to our our vechile since our shopping bags from the Las Vegas outlets were easliy spotted from the rear window. The safety issue became the last straw. FYI, we stayed at Excalibur in Las Vagas the night before and paid only $31/night(including tax). Upon checking in, the front desk staff automatically upgraded us to a $99 dollars room without us requesting. On the contrary, we booked this room for $120/night, assuming the brand name "Hilton" is the guarantee of good service. To be fair, the breakfast was ok, but it was a compensation.

With a name like Hilton, we expected more. The beds were narrow and didn't not fit on the frame. Employees at the front ... desk were sparatic. We will not be adding Hilton to any of our future trips.

Excellent value

Highly recommend this hotel. The staff are all outstanding - very helpful, enthusiastic and willing to help any time of the ... day or night. We really appreciated complimentary hotel pick up at the airport. The facilities were all extremely clean, great location within walking distance of several good restaurants and downtown Flagstaff. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very pleasant and clean. Would definitely stay there again and give it a 5 star review. Found the free Internet access very helpful especially for making plane boarding pass reservations.

Very nice facility
Bob on the go May 25, 2009
Quick and easy checkin. Very nice room. However, we were watching TV and the head of housekeeping walked into our room ... without knocking. Called front desk, they had a few excuses but appoligized and gave us free breakfasts. Glad it was free because I would have hate to pay almsot $10 for that. Good selction but hot food was not hot. Service was fair as lady was more concerned about her cell phone calls than quests.
