THE HILTON IS A NICE HOTEL. ELEVATORS WERE ALITTLE ANNOYING AT TIMES. (NOTHING BIG) PARKING WAS A BIG PROBLEM. ONLY HAVE ... VALET PARKING. SELF PARKING WAS DOWN THE STREET. EITHER WAY YOU HAD TO PAY ABOUT 16-18 BUCKS A NIGHT. PLUS ALWAYS A BIG MESS AT TEH FRONT WERE VALET WAS. FOR THE MONEY THERE ARE BETTER HOTELS. OTHER THEN PAYING FOR THE HILTON NAME IT WAS A NICE OVERALL PLACE.

The original poolsie room on the 3rd floor over looked the roof of the pool. there were dirty clothes on that deck. Also ... looked over some kind of bungy ride. Ugly view. we have stayed poolside at this hotel before and were disappoineted. The bell man even said it was bad and contacted the front desk for me. After about ten min. we were moved to an ocean front room on the 8th floor. They made it good. we planned to spend most of our days on the beach reading and relaxing. We went out to eat with friends for dinner. Location was convenient. It was just what we planned all along and the weather co-operated except forabout one hour on the beach.

Great location for Daytona Beach. Just minutes to the Ocean Deck, which is a great beach side bar. Very close to nearby ... bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. Beds were super comfortable, and the room was very clean. Just one word of caution. The driveway can be a bit of a zoo when a lot of folks are checking in.

The only thing negative that we have to say about the hotel was that when we got there they didnt have out junior suite that ... we payed for, so they put us in an "upgraded" cabana suite, which we didnt like. But i will say that the next day they were very good at finding us a room that we would like eventhough they still didnt have our junior suite ready for the second night they put us in a bigger honeymoon suite which was awesome, we were very pleased overall with the hotel and their staff who were very helpful.

The valet service personnel were excellent especially [...]. He recognized me as soon as I came out the door of the hotel or ... car. Was great with where to go, what to do and what was around town. Also treated my family members that dropped me off and picked me up with super service.

We stayed here because our relatives were staying for a week at the Westin. Our hotel was beautiful, the room had a fabulous ... view with adequate ammenities. The woman who checked us in was friendly and extremely accomodating. The auto valet personnel were personable. We did not have the opportunity to dine in the hotel but the restaurants looked inviting.

My boyfriend and I chose the Hilton Oceanwalk because of the great price and the awesome location. Upon our first arrival, ... we were unimpressed. The parking lot is across the street and down a block. The hotel was nice inside, however the elevators in the lobby were broken a lot of the time. We even got stuck inside one of them! The room was beautiful, the beds were comfortable and the view was gorgeous. Unfortunately, there were NO balconies just a slight railing. You can open the door, but you can't go outside. :( We were on the 12th floor in the center of everything. This was awesome until midnight when the activity was still going strong. Our room location was loud. South Tower, Oceanfront is LOUD and Bright! The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, the experience was not horrible, just not what we expected from a Hilton Hotel.

The Hotel was pretty good every time I left or came back I was greeted by the staff, I was given a free upgrade with a ... beachfront view, my window was facing the pier. An the morning I left I had the USA Today waiting for me at my doorstep (thats a 1st)So i was pretty pleased, the rooms were a bit on the small side but I didn't need alot of space. Don't have nothing bad to say.

THE ROOM WAS WONDERFUL. GREAT VIEW OF THE AREA AND THE OCEAN. HOUSEKEEPING DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THE ONLY COMPLAINT WE HAVE ... IS THE PARKING FEES..$17/DAY FOR VALET OR $9/DAY TO PARK IN AN UNSECURE LOT BLOCKS AWAY, ACROSS THE STREET. WOULD HAVE STAYED AN EXTRA NIGHT BUT HAD ALREADY SPENT $119.00 JUST IN PARKING. (BOOKED ROOM AT $89/NIGHT)

On arrival at 7 PM we were told that the room we reserved was not available. When I questioned this the person at the ... counter was evasive until I demanded to see the manager. After a more than five minute wait, I finally spoke to the manager and let her know that this was no way to treat a customer with a prepaid reservation. She agreed and upgraded us to a seventh floor, ocean view room which was quite nice. All ended well.

The food in the hotel is the closest you will get to a very good meal. The surrounding places it's up to you whether you want to eat. The only exception was the "Galaxy Dinner."
