Best place to stay. It has it all.

Would recommend to a friend!

The Hotel reminded me of one that I stayed in in Prague. The beds were huge and very luxuriant. It even had a whirlpool tub. ... The London bridge is so close you can practically touch it from the deck outside. We took the ferry to the little casino across the lake on the California side. The walk ways along the channel are beautiful and a pleasure to experience. We ate at Gallager's Pub. Great pub food. Looking forward to a return trip.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!

All I have to say is you can't find a better location then the Heat Hotel. My boyfriend and I stayed here memorial day ... monday - wednesday just enough to really enjoy havasu, it's a nice little quaint town, pretty small, 2-3 days is plenty! The hotel sits right next to the London Bridge & across the canal sits the London Bridge Resort, have to check out Kokomo's inside there, it's a beach & party bar w/ pool, pretty cool spot. I would not recommend the Heat Hotel for families, its pretty noisy considering the club across the way there & it's more of a party place, i would suggest the Heat Hotel for people 20-40 years old. Did I mention that the check-in counter doubles up as a bar?!?! LOL!! You park, maybe walk 20 feet & there it is. There is also a really great outside bar directly next to check-in. If you're looking for five star 1st class service, this is not the place either!! You won't find that pretty much anywhere in Havasu, I live in Vegas so i know all about that. The people are friendly there but do not go out of their way to please, and i mean all of Havasu not just the hotel. I don't know, maybe i'm just too pampered here!! Although there was one female bartender on our last night there @ heat hotel that was just great & made up for all those little things others had forgotten about! The one thing that the Heat is missing is a pool!

Ok next door has shugrue's restaurant a great restaurant and bar, the service isn't exceptional but the food is fantastic! Theres also barley brothers brewery in the same plaza. Just walk underneath the bridge from heat hotel and you'll find it. Have to check out kokomos inside london bridge resort just a short walk over the bridge to the other side. And if you walk down to the water from there you'll find many different water activities to chose from. I suggest the dixie belle paddle wheel boat, there's also jet skis, boats, kayaks, etc. that you can rent for the day. You can also set up charters & tours for fishing & boating and theres even parasailing and just so much more. Even the "beach" is walking distance from the hotel.

KINDA DIRTY

Would recommend to a friend!

The hotel was interesting in it's design and decor, kind of a contemporary Danish almost cool look. The beds had duvets, ... like in a European hotel, but they were TOO HOT to be comfortable. The room was a light green (think 50's hospital color) with quite a few scuffs and marks on it. The carpet was mildly soiled (didn't want to walk on it barefoot) and the bathroom had some unusual stray hairs and dustballs. The toilet amenities were nice, with some very good shapoos, soaps, etc. View of the river was quite nice, but the trucks going over the bridge were loud. The reception and elevatorr lobbies were again, kinda dirty, and some of the laminate floor was peeling up. Just OK overall, but better than anything else in LHC.
