We make several trips to Virginia Beach every year and are always looking for great places to stay at an affordable price; ... this is it! We have watched as this hotel was built from the ground up, and now that its finished, it is a great place to stay! Right on the oceanfront, close to many great restraunts and other great things to do while visiting VB. The rooms were larger than we expected, very clean and up-to-date. The towels and linens were plush and very comfortable. The staff was especially friendly and ready to serve. There is a nice, heavy continental breakfast served each morning. Probably the nicest place I've stayed while in VB. Compared to other similar-sized and similarly priced, independent hotels, I would choose this one again for sure, no question. There were only a couple things that were lacking: 1) the pool is beautiful, but rather small, 2) there is no entrance/exit directly on to the boardwalk (entry and exit is through the main lobby) and 3) there was no mini-fridge in the room, which would be helpful when we travel with our 3 children for an extended stay. These things would not deter me from staying again, and I look forward to returning in the future!

Mahi-Mah's has great seafood and sushi a short walk away. Il Giardino has delicious Italian food, right across the street. The Black Angus is as award-winning steak and seafood restraunt within a few blocks.

This was a good hotel. Located in a great location. This was a Saturday night stay so the hotel was "very" busy. Finding a ... spot to park prior to check-in was a little tough but I eventually had to park on the 2nd floor. The elevators were a little slow some time but that can be attributed to the busy weekend. I would guess that a night stay during the week would be great. I got the most awesome sunrise picture from my hotel room balcony. The price was hefty so I won't always be able to stay like this but it was worth it.

Our hotel room was very clean with a nice down comforter on the bed. We had to check in late on Friday, but that was not a ... problem. The staff was very friendly and willing to help with anything. We had a king bed with a roll out shower. The room did not have a mini refrigerator, but we did not need it. I was surprised the room did not have a small safe for valuables, but the hotel did provide safety deposit boxes at the front desk. The only strange occurrence was the fire alarm went off in our room once when my husband was taking a shower. The front desk reset the alarm immediately, but I was told it went off because of the steam from the shower. I never had that happen before in a hotel room. Overall, this was a great hotel.

We live a couple of hours away, so we are aware of all of the hotels around Va. Beach. This hotel was friendly and in a ... great location. We rented bikes just outside the door and rode up and down the boardwalk for hours. The beds also slept great!!!! We slept so well with such a beautiful ocean view, we decided to sleep in and miss breakfast!!!!
