Great!!! ...

Although I was staying to be near Baptist Hospital, the hotel is a great jumping off location for visitors to Nashville for so many attractions and dining. Very close to downtown without the hassle of staying downtown. Great food all around the area. PF Chang, Amerigo, Outback, Demos, T Alexander, Ruth Chris.

Great place to stay
Rain Aug 10, 2009
The location was great. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. They have preprinted cards with directions to many ... places like the Bluebird Cafe, Opry Mills, etc. If you are there during the week, they have fresh baked cookies in the lobby in the afternoon. The included breakfast in the lobby has the basic breakfast items to get you going in the morning without having to search for a restaurant.

The Holiday Inn around the corner has entertainment from 7 - 11. We didn't stay there, but one of the locals told us to check out the entertainment there. Good tip for the non-bar hoppers. You'll want to check out the BlueBird Cafe also, which you would need to drive to or take a cab.

Just walk for a good dinner at Sitar, Montana Grill or Mellow Mushroom Pizza. Also take a walk through the Vanderbilt University campus. Very nice.

thrilled to find this gem
Vandy family May 12, 2009
We have travelled to Nashville several times, all associated with my son's Vanderbilt experience. This is the first time we ... stayed at this hotel and the location was perfect. Quieter than being on West End but great restaurants within walking distance and no traffic hassles entering/exiting the hotel. The one thing that soured this experience was that I'd left a pair of slack hanging in the closet and when the hotel was notified they never turned up. My fault, yes, but they didn't disintegrate into thin air.... However, would definitely stay here again...just will be more careful next time.
