Nice location

Great location near the Plaza. The pool was very cold and there was no hot tub. The breakfast was "ok", not very much to ... pick from and not a lot of seating for the crowd you get. The rooms were big and the shower was nice. Would stay again just based on the location.

So many shopping opportunities, so little money. Ditto on dining. Brio has terrific Italian, and the Carpaccio Beef is a meal in itself.

The hotel was in a great location. The breakfast was good. The sheets were put on sidways so I had to remake the bed so the ... sheets wouldn't come off at night. There were only 15 channels. I missed my favorite team play because they didn't have Fox Sports.

Great Location

Fabulous location for walking the Country Club Plaza area Hotel parking is underground and perfectly protected from the ... weather. Staff was mostly disinterested in offering service. A Saturday evening wedding party made for a very noisy evening, and our room location above the alley made for a very noisy morning as delivery trucks, trash trucks or whatever gave us an unplanned wake-up call. Weekend housekeeping was not nearly as thorough as week days.

Wonderful Weekend
McRich Jul 24, 2009
Our only purpose for the trip was to spend it at the Plaza and relax. The Inn was "just close enough" to the Plaza's main ... fountain and park...a relaxing walk. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff very friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good and a great selection and comfortable seating. We chose to eat outside on a small patio outside the pool area. Free underground parking was a great benefit!

Dining options were abundant at the Plaza...no need to drive anywhere.

Friendly, fun family hotel
Mom Jul 16, 2009
The hotel staff were very nice to us. The location was good but I wish they would have had a small attractions of Kansas ... City stand with maps. The fitness room was small with several pieces of equipment. The a couple pieces of equipment were not functioning very well and I wish there was a hot tube. However, our stay there was nice. The staff were really friendly which helped make our trip very enjoyable.

fun family trip
now a royals fan May 20, 2009
my family and I had a great stay, the hotel staff was extremely nice and gave bags of m&ms to both my sons and then we wanted ... a before bed treat the hotel had great choices of ice cream and we needed a scoop to get it out of the carton and they went and got us one, not to mention one of our sons bought a movie and we didn't know and we went down to find out what was going on about this and the staff saw that it was only watched for 1 minute so they removed it. The pool was warm and inviting and had plenty of towels and seating and the room was welcoming as well with over stuffed comforters along with the pillows one could easily fall asleep on. In the morning the breakfast layout was delious and had many items to choose from. We would recommend this and stay at this hotel time and time again being that we travel to KC often enough.

The is a very nice hotel, close to the Country Club Plaza. The room was nice and clean; the bed was great. The staff was ... helpful and responsive. I will stay there again. It is clearly superior to near-by competitive hotels in the same price range.
