Clean & friendly staff. Manager even stopped by breakfast to make sure we were having a nice stay. Breakfasts were great. ... Warm cookies in the afternoon. Coffee, tea or hot cocoa available at all times. Rental car available right next door. Train stop nearby. Shuttles free and very nice, friendly, helpful shuttle drivers. Only negative was when you asked staff where something was, they were very vague. I guess they assume we knew where we were. We did not! Just across the street isn't enough. At least tell us which street. Otherwise it was great. We would stay there again.

Hotel was clean and front desk was friendly and helpful, but hampton inn advertises free hotel shuttle. I took this to mean ... that it runs pretty much all day. not true. it only runs 5 or 6 times a day. we went to the red sox game and had to get a taxi home cause the shuttle was done for the day. the shuttle only fits 12 people so if your not first in line its no good any way. I stayed here cause it was cheaper, but probably spent more cause i had to take a taxi everywhere. I never took a taxi before and was very uncomfortable doing so.

i was bringing my daughter to northeastern university. decided to spend the night to make things less stressful. the staff ... were all pleasant and very helpful with directions. there is a restaurant connected to the hotel - rudi's - we ate there 2 times because the food was great and the staff very friendly. the manager even came over to talk with us. by the way, the hotel offers a continental breakfast - they had a great variety of food and drink items

Hotel was fine for our purpose. I would, however, never book on Orbitz again, as we found we could have gotten a better rate ... from the hotel directly - also less stringent cancellation polocy. Why book with Orbitz?

The Hampton Inn & Suites Boston Crosstown Center was a nice place to stay near Boston Medical University Hospital. Just ... know, if you stay here that you will hear ambulance sirens very often.

If you need to be near the Longwood Medical Center, this is a great place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable, there is ... free breakfast and wifi, and the building is a very nice modern building complete with an exercise room and pool. However, if you don't need to be at the Longwood Medical Center, like me, its fine but definitely not the best location in Boston nor is it particularly close to the T. If you just in town for the night and relying on cabs or don't mind braving the busses, it works great, but its not the most convenient for general tourist stuff.

This was an area I hadn't stayed in before and I needed help finding my way around. Not only was the staff knowledgeable, but ... they were available to help at a moments notice! I got lost and forgot how to get to the shuttle pickup and they ask where I was and picked me up there! Whew! That was great. I would recommend this hotel.

the shuttle was an easy way to get to most places. The side of the hotel on the enty side is very quiet versus the side with ... three major arteries of traffic coming together. A hospital is a block away and their were ambulances throughout the night. Great mattress on the bed. A rather long walk to the subway or silver bus line-only did that once. two computers were free. Great breakfast included.
