Super great staff! Very clean, close to anything you would want to do. Traffic not an issue in this area of town. Very ... convenient for airport needs. I would certainly stay there again - and most likely will on my next flight out of Austin.

I attended the UT game while I was there. The staff was very courteous and professional. Nice and clean room. The breakfast ... doesn't offer any meat, but that wasn't a big issue.I would definitely stay there again.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was really nice. It was close to airport but far from downtown so ... you will need a rental car because public transportation is lacking. Close to Starbucks and main highway to get downtown. The Breakfast Buffet was awesome - eggs, juice, everything you could want. They also have a great "Snack Bar" and free beer/wine for Happy Hour.

Rent a car so you can get downtown for great bars and restaurants...there is no public transportation and cabs are far and few between. Great deal but far from downtown.

Close to Airport but little noise

Room was nice,clean and surprisingly not noisy being so close to the airport. Would have liked to have AC fan control so ... that it would stay on. Bed was comfortable, room clean.

The hotel is close to the airport although I have stayed there twice and felt very safe the neighborhood close by is lower income and you would not want to walk around or jog in the area. IT is very convenient for airport travel.

All I needed

I was looking for a hotel that was within 2 miles of the Austin airport since I had an early morning flight and was traveling ... with a toddler. It was right down the street. I also had a late checkin and was somewhat exhausted having driven an hour and a half to get to the hotel but the staff were very friendly and offered a snack to my son and gave me all the information I needed when I asked. The room was more than big enough for the two of us, the bed was extremely comfortable and the sofa made it more cozy and the view of downtown Austin from my window made me feel that I should be paying more. I definitely will stay again if in the area.

We really liked this property. Our two favorite things were the free breakfast(included eggs and bacon) and the comfort of ... the bed (great mattress). Our overall experience was great. The property was well maintained and appeared to be new.

Downtown and 6th street is not very far and the hotel is conviently located by the airport(noise was not a problem).

We have stayed in Hampton Inns before, and this one was better than we had experienced or anticipated. Comfortable ... bed, large sized room, sizeable breakfast, nice decor and very nice desk staff. We also appreciated the 12 noon check out time. We chose the hotel because we wanted something close to the Austin airport, which it was. There was a free shuttle to take us back and forth from the airport as well.

The only two choices within walking distance were Denny's and The Waffle House, so don't plan on any gourmet dinners close by.

The Hampton by the Austin, TX. airport was a comfortable room with all the desired amenities. I was provided with the ... additional room enhancements that I had requested prior to arriving. In addition to a comfortable bed the room had an extra oversized side chair and seperate desk & chair. Although there were no more of the usual and expected disposibles, addition items were available via a call to the desk. The wonderful fact that tho' my room was close to the elevator I heard nothing all night long - it was quiet and uneventful.
