Nicest Hotel Around
Jean Oct 3, 2009
The service at the hotel was very friendly. I was there while the winds were gusting up to 60 mph but the wind noise didn't ... bother me. The only negative is that although it was mild outside, the room was very difficult to cool down.

This hotel is located 18 miles from Monument Valley and it's a must see area. Unfortunately, there really isn't any dining, shopping or entertainment around.

Monument Valley is the main point of interest, and it's about 20 miles north. Navajo Monument is also about 20 miles west. All of this area is beautiful and interesting, and any drive will be worth wile.

Pleasantly surprised
Becky Jun 5, 2008
We heard some somewhat-negative feedback from an acquaintance familiar with the area who said they probably wouldn't stay ... there overnight. We have 2 small children and needed to break up our road trip so we decided to give it a try anyway. We were pleasantly surprised with the appearance of the hotel, inside and out, and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant was open until 10:00 PM so despite our late arrival, we were able to get something to eat and had a free breakfast there the next morning. If we take that route again for a trip, I would definitely stay there again.

Staff very friendly
George May 5, 2008
The hotel was very busy and full every night, so that's probably the reason. The hotel was very nice and comfortable and the ... staff was as friendly as I've ever experienced. The dining room served excellent dinners, and the continental breakfast was first rate. It was conveniently located in the 'strip' on the main highway and I would have liked it if it were a little out 'of the way', but the view was outstanding behind all the fast food places and service stations.
