Great/Comfortable Hotel

Hotel was very comfortable and clean. It was a great location for our needs --- which were to travel to various sites --- ... Painted Desert/Petrified Forest/Meteor Crater. Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful in referring us to restaurants nearby. Complimentary Continental Breakfast was excellent. Overall, a great value for the location.

We arrived on a Saturday and were surprised to find that many of the restaurants closed 9-10pm. (Considering that we arrived late, this was an issue, but we did find something to eat!) Also, some of the recommended restaurants were closed on Sunday and/or Monday...So, do not plan to have a full choice at any given hour, but food can be found!

Overall, I believe the amenities were good and the staff was very friendly; however, the management needs to be aware of the ... peddlers that come onto their property and disturb the guests, as well as, puts their safety at risk. If this issue is dealt with with security, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. I did like the fact that Hampton Inn provided a full breakfast. This was a key factor for choosing this particular hotel.
