I enjoy staying in East Jerusalem. Proximity to the Old City and Mt. Scopus and Hebrew University make this site ... worthwhile. So, I enjoyed the location of the Grand Court. The food was quite good as was the staff in the dining area. The hotel charges US $8/hour for internet service and the connection is enormously difficult to make and sustain. Yet, the chrges remain. Didn't care for that much. The hotel is oddly designed. My room was at the end of four enormously long corridors. If the architects had simply made a door in the wall next to my room, it would have been one corridor. Didn't care for that either. I would not stay in any large chain hotel in Jerusalem again. There are plenty of small options that have much more personalized service and free internet.

If you want to see the Temple Mount, be sure to not go at noon as prayers are being said then and non-Muslems will not be allowed on.
