Good location, ok hotel
ehouston Aug 31, 2009
This hotel was average in about every way. The staff were nice, not super friendly, but certainly not rude. There is a ... nightclub downstairs in the hotel, which can make entering the building at night a bit of a hassle. However, there was no noise from the club in the rooms. The hotel is in a great location, and the rooms are quite large. The hotel is generally nice, if a bit worn. My biggest complaint is that although they advertise free internet and wifi, it is available only in a small lounge on the first floor, and works poorly. Overall, ok for the price but not amazing.

Parking is available about a block away in a mall parking deck. Although there are signs throughout the lot warning that if you don't pay within 15 minutes you will loose the special £5.50 rate, wait and get the hotel voucher. Although it only gives you £0.50 off, it gives you an extra two hours of parking the next morning.

In the Center of Things
Traveling Guy Aug 20, 2009
We found this hotel on Orbitz and it was a great place to stay. It was easy to visit all the major sights; most of them were ... a short walk, for example Temple Bar area, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Christchurch Cathedral, Dublin Castle, Writers' Museum, National Museum, Trinity College and Book of Kells, Shopping, etc. Guinness Storehouse is a bit farther, but you can buy an all-day ticket on Grayline's City Tour and hop on and off to see the sights. The hotel restaurant was a real bargain--cheaper than other places and everything we had was tasty. There was no A/C, but we really didn't need it as the temperatures were usually mild. There was also some noise from the street with the windows open, but that's because it's located in an active area. The only complaint would be that the free internet's availability was spotty. We would stay here again.

The hotel staff was very nice. They helped with where to go. The chamber maids were good and did extra things to make your ... room nice. The only negative was the room got a little stuffy with outside temps in 60s.Sometimes I had to open window and prop door open for ventilation. The breakfast was also good for 9 euro coupons I was given at check in.

Great Location
Patricia Jul 10, 2009
We had to ask a few times how to find the hotel and someone actually called the front desk, got directions, and walked us ... there. Our rooms were comfortable, yet stuffy. We opened the windows and shut the drapes during the day while we were out. No A/C or fans in the room. We stayed Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and the weekend street and bar noise on the lower level went on til bartime - too long for me. Sunday night was quiet and restful. We did not opt for the 15 euro breakfast at the hotel, but had several restaurant/cafe choices nearby. The friendly staff helped us research places of interest on their computer. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Ask for coffee Americano or else you'll get the thick, high-test version. The small store across the street has good coffee and is cheaper than the fastfood restaurants along the shopping plaza.
