The hotel looks to be recently renovated. The rooms were very nice. Good ammenities. Flat screen TV and the breakfast was ... actually hot breakfast. They had scrambled eggs and biscuits. The hotel is also in a great location. Very close to Disney.

Excellent!! Great Price, & Location
Lisa V Nov 8, 2009
I stayed at this hotel with my 2 kids and my mother. We went to all the disney parks and stayed for a week. The pillowtop ... beds were the best. After walking around the theme parks all day I really needed to come back to a comfortable clean room. The room was very modern, LCD TV, Mini kitchenete, perfect price. I have no complaints. Whenever I go back to disney, I will probably stay there again.

The breakfast buffet is over at exactlly 9am sharp, and its not worth setting the alarm clock for anyways. I recomend going to the Ihop next door and getting full breakfast.

Very short drive to so many locations. Make sure you look at the menu first before you go inside to sit. This way you will know ahead of time how expensive or inexpensive it is and what to expect culinary wise. Kobe Steak House is Great! Arabian Nights is a great show but the food is pretty bad, so prepare yourself for that! Also, don't just settle for a restaurant because its on the same street as the hotel. Search on-line a bit and find what is within a 15 mile radius because the high way will get you there in no time at all.

Huge cockroach in the Room
Diener2u Oct 27, 2009
Nice hotel, the beds were comfortable and the room was nicely decorated. There was a 2 inch cockroach in our room that my ... wife killed and took to the front desk. The manager still has not called my wife back. I think they need a good pest control company. We kept our clothes zipped up in the suit cases so we didn't end up with any castaways on the way home.

Very nice Hotel for a very low price!
C.S. Di Leo Oct 27, 2009
While there my fiance and I had dinner and entertainment at Arabian Nights, which is right on 192 past I-4 overpass and next ... to Kobe Japanese Steak House-excellent Japanese cuisine- (very close to hotel). Sunday we went to Disney Animal Kingdom which is extremely close to the hotel, right off of Sherberth road. The Hotel is right smack in the middle of many good restaurants and just seconds from the free-way (I-4). The hotel has very nice, modern and clean rooms. The bathroom is spacious and was very clean. We especially enjoyed the flat screen HD t.v. on the wall (very cool). The room also had a refrigerator and mini-bar/sink that came in very useful for midnight cocktail. This hotel is very much worth the money (low cost) and made our 1-year anniversary of engagement enjoyable, comfortable and stress free.

"Our first vacation to Orlando"
Omar and Gaby Sep 20, 2009
We went to orlando for the very first time and stayed at the galleria palms hotel. The hotel is nice and at an affordable ... price. The pictures they show on orbitz are true. Our experience was very good. The rooms are big and clean and the staff is frindly. The bad things are that the shuttle is very small and is always late. It makes too many stops at other hotels so most of the time you will be standing. The hotel is not that close to disney so it would be better to stay at a disney resort. Also the breakfast is good but does not offer a big variety. Its better to go early because the food finishes. Our stay was nice and quiet and lots of fun at the parks. Would be back to this hotel.

Looks can be deceiving...
Nichnack Sep 14, 2009
The check-in staff were decently nice. Nothing overly friendly though. The room we had was exactly like the picture. Very ... roomy and up-to-date looking. The beds are as hard as a rock though. I woke up both mornings after sleeping having to take ibuprofen to make the pain in my shoulders/hips go away. The fire alarm went off both mornings at 8:15 sharp. Which then makes the elevators non-working until the fire department fixes them. When you're on the 5th floor you don't want to haul your luggage down 5 flights. It was annoying. Breakfast was served from 6-8...Who wakes up that early on vacation? Even when we did get down there one day at 8, nothing looked very good. Definitely not a hotel I need to stop at again.

I absolutely enjoy staying at Galleria Palms. I significant other and I stay there every time we go to the Orlando area. This ... was actually the first time I've ever eaten their breakfast, being as there is an IHOP right in front of the hotel, and I was a little disappointed. The breakfast was good, but the same breakfast was served every day.

EASY TO FIND AND EASY CHECK IN. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND PROFICIENT. BEDS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE PILLOW TOP BUT WAS THE HARDEST ... PILLOW TOP I HAVE EVER SLEPT ON. ROOMS ARE KIND OF CRAMPED AND TV IS IN BAD LOCATION. OVERALL THE EXPERIENCE WASNT VERY GOOD AND WONT BE STAYING HERE AGAIN! THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A HIGHER END HOTEL BUT I WISH I WOULD HAVE BOOKED A MOTEL 6 OR BEST WESTERN OTHER THAN THIS ONE. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Great Hotel for the Price!
Mrs. Hicks Sep 8, 2009
I really liked the hotel. The hotel decor was very nice and modern. The price was definitely a good deal for this type of ... hotel. The only problem I had was that the hallway was hot and only one elevator was working and hot. All in all the hotel was good for the money. I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Orbitz charged an upcharge for the breakfast and the king bed however the breakfast was included in the price of the room anyway. I was not able to get a king bed, they were sold out. The hotel management told me there was no upcharge for the king bed. There was only one person to check guest in and she was backed up and overwhelmed.
