"Clean and hospitable"

Hotel was clean and staff was pleasant and tried to be most accommodating, but they couldn't speak English very well. The ... room was small, but clean; the bathroom was very nice. They, like so many places in Taiwan, did not offer wash cloths--a little thing, maybe. Their breakfast buffet was limited. Street noises woke us up a bit. I didn't understand their 4 star rating, especially after staying in another 4 star hotel in the same city. The other hotel was about the same price but was ten times better.
