Details: Full Day Excursion To Pompeii

Departing from Rome by deluxe motor coach you will pass Castelli Romani, the wine-producing hillside towns to the southeast of Rome, where you will be able to see the hillsides completely covered by vineyards. The tour will also cross the region of Ciociaria. You will have a view (from the motor coach) of the Abbey of Montecassino, which was completely rebuilt after World War II.

Upon arrival in Naples you will enjoy a tour of the city. Next we will continue on to Pompeii, where after lunch in a local restaurant, we will visit the excavations of this famous Roman city that was completely destroyed by the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D.
