The hotel was pretty and it was off the main roadways making it a very nice getaway. Went with family but also a nice place ... for couples/golfing trips with the guys. Have stayed at the Holiday Inn in Casa grande however I recommend Francisco Grande Hotel. Things I didnt like were the construction noises early in the morning due to renovations, clogged sinks and bees around the pool. Overall, it was great for the area and a good value.

Food was delicious in both the bar and restaurant and prices are not ridiculous for this quality resort.

Great food and service. Kitchen get backed up from time to time but staff is good to stay on top of the orders. You will have to request water if you want it to stay hydrated. Tables are nice in dining room, but finish on table feels sticky to the touch. I did notice they were always cleaned so it is just the finish that was used they are not dirty.

What a Treat!
Debbie Jun 27, 2009
This hotel is a little off the beaten path, so it is quiet and restful. but was only a short drive to a variety of ... restaurants and shopping. My husband and I were there for 8 days, working in the area, and this was a wonderful place to go back to in the evenings to refresh for the next day. We used the fitness center, the hot tub, the pool and found all to be an unexpected luxury. The restaurant was open limited hours (seasonal), but the lounge served a full menu, and the food was delicious.

This was a great stay!! The staff was super attentive and accommodating. The prices for drinks and food did not gouge you ... and were of very good quality. Even the golf course and drinks were a fair value. We will definitely be repeat visitors.

Three in a room
claudia Jun 1, 2009
I did not like the room, since you guys knew I was taking my son, there was only one bed with no couch or extra bed for him ... to sleep, usually when I get a room I always get an extra space for my son, not only that but I rented another room for the daughter her husband and her daughter, and same thing she had to sleep with the baby in the same bed. The place was hard to find, and no continental breakfast which most of the hotels offer.Thank you for asking but no I would not go back to that place, since I travel at least 3 times a year. Claudia

Enjoyable Time in AZ
Frequent Traveler Apr 22, 2009
Even though I was there to work and not to golf the resort was a nice place to stay. Peaceful view off the back dining ... patio. Birds were chirping and singing with beautiful sunsets in the evening. Well kept rooms in the outer buildings even though they were not new construction by any means. Great value of the money and great staff. I am sure the tower stay would be even better. It was great stress relief in the evening to enjoy the sun set after a long day at work. Feel at home in the west with this nice resort. Kick back and enjoy. I plan on stay here again if I am back out in the area.

Not bad
Jeff Jul 6, 2008
This was my first time at this hotel, and I was suprised that is was a nice as it was. Golf course was in pretty good ... shape...the restaurant/bar was good, staff at the restaurant/bar was great. Hotel staff seemed a bit lazy...our friends dirty room service tray sat outside their room for most of day before someone got around to picking it up. Overall I was pleased with our stay here, and would stay here again...beats all other options in the area that I know of.

My review of Francisco Grande Hotel and Golf Resort
Sandy Oct 7, 2007
The Francisco Grande was a great place to stay because it was far enough out of the city so that it was nice and quiet. The ... staff was friendly and the hotel provides plenty of amenities, i.e., restaurant, lounge, pool, golf, exercise room, etc. An excellent value for the price.
