Hotel is nice enough
Honeymoon couple Sep 11, 2009
The hotel was nice . The best part of it is the neighborhood that it's in. Across the street is a beatiful walking path on ... the lake. Also note that contrary to the hotel discription you can't actually see the lake from the hotel room. Half of the hotel is on the side of a highway and the other half is across the street from the lake , its not actually on Lake Ontario. The next very important thing is that after I made the reservation I saw I was booked for a small room . I went there on my honeymoon so I requested a bigger room atleast with a view. The conceirage told me that she can't give me a view because the hotel was booked but she upgraded us to a two suite room. It was perfect. The cleanliness was great also.

Good for one night stay
Dominica Thomas's Aug 4, 2009
Staff was friendly, and room was small and worn but very clean. It was nice that after we got to our room someone from the ... front desk called to make sure that our room looked ok. We had a room at the back of the hotel and if we go back again in the future will most definitely request a lake view room. There was a brick wall within several feet of our window, and after observing movement above the wall we realized that we were right next to a busy highway. Had we known ahead of time we would have requested the lake view. We only stayed the one night, so did not ask to be moved.

May Stay at Sheraton
JJ May 18, 2009
This hotel was very easy to get in and out of if you came by car. It is a very central location to inner west Toronto. My ... view of the lake was nice and the staff was helpful. My only complaint is that the wireless internet was frustratingly slow.

We stayed here for a family wedding being held at a nearby venue. The staff was helpful when asked questions about the ... surrounding area. The Hotel Bar and restaurant provided us with a much needed drink and food after our nine hour drive, although a bit expensive the staff was very attentive. All in all we had a wonderful time. Loved the room and the amenities. thanks for making our short stay so pleasant.

Shopping and dining in Toronto are wonderful. Check out China Town for the dumpling house and other wonderful places to eat. We love the out of the way areas so we loved this area of the city. Take a stroll through the Asian markets for some treats and some exotic foods.

Located between two busy highways with park and lake on other side of highway, but cross walk available. Large crane next to ... hotel. Seemed like a construction zone, however, very quiet inside hotel. Hotel was very comfortable and clean. Had plush bedding. Location was good to get to downtown Toronto.

SMALL CLEAN AFFORDABLE
B Mar 2, 2008
Four points does drop the ball at times - door needs new battery and you've gone up twice with different cards to open door ... and it doesn't. Phone doesn't work - dah, not properly plugged in. But the staff and the particularly the dinning staff are friendly, helpful and make you feel special. Also the location is perfect for my stay in that particular neighborhood - High Park Neighborhood and it has easy acess to downtown as the highway is right there.

There are many wonderful restaurants on Roncesvalles to choose from and I particularly liked the Thai place for frequent meals.
