We were in Kansas City for the NASCAR race. The hotel was one of few available at the time we booked. The door between the ... room and the corridor had no gasketing so light and especially sound from the corridor easily entered the room at all hours. The bathroom plumbing was in poor maintenance (especially the toilet which, at times, had to be flushed several times to clear). Noticed small bugs crawling on the bathroom floor.

This is a very nice hotel. It's close to the airport and had 24 hr shuttle service. We left at 2 pm out to CA and we returned ... a week later at 1156 pm at the airport and a shuttle picked us up after we got our luggage about 0015 am. We left our car there the entire week and had no problems at all. The front desk was great and the kitchen staff was great too, as was the cook. Anytime we will fly out of KC Airport we will stay at this hotel with out a doubt. You can get online and find an additional coupon code for a couple of dollars off each night stay too. (google it). All in all, the price for the rooms was very fair and the rooms were truly nice rooms, we had a king. Great temperature controls, hot showers with good nozzles, many extras with the room. We do recommend it.

Seeing My Soldier Off To Basic Training

I was seeing my fiance off to basic training, he stayed in the same hotel. When I had arrived the staff was great and anytime ... that I encountered the staff there after was a good experience. The beds were very plush and the rooms were super clean. They did not however have a complimentry breakfast, which why I pick hotels in the first place; but this pick was out of my norm. The food was not good, the waitress asked me several times what I wanted. There was only me in the restraunt and I had to ask for more coffee. There were only two computers to work from and only one had a printer. For all the business that they would get being by KCI you would think that they would have more computers. The walls are thin and can hear in the next room and out in the hall way. The only problem that I really had witht the staff was the house keeper bangs on the door at 8 a.m. to see when I am checking out. That was not very polite and it disturbed my sleep.

On exit eight off of I 29 there are several great restraunts, movit theatre, and the largest shopping experience I have encountered at the Zona Rosa. Great places with in that one street.

Stayed overnight for an early morning flight. Appreciate being able to leave my car at the hotel. Shuttle was on time and a ... very easy way to catch a flight. I would recommend this only as a place to stay that is convenient to catch a flight at KCI. Nothing else stands out.

The hotel is close to the airport and the interstate which is quick access to many attractions. But it's within 5 miles of the Zona Rosa Shopping Center which is why we stayed there. It also offered shuttle service to both. We also visited the Country Club Plaza and the River Market area which was both easily accessible via the interstate as well.
