Well, My husband celebrated 80 years on 10/18. We orginally was all set to go to Ocean City Maryland. As the weather would ... have it, our plans changed. We looked for a hotel where we could enjoy relaxtion and the Flagship seemed inviting so we booked two days [...] We had no regrets. [...] the front desk, [...] the conciege were wonderful. Both were unique in their custmer service skills and they made us feel like one of them. Part of the Flagship Family. When you receive excellent customer service like they gave us you can overlook the small unpleasant things. Anyway, The Flagship was the perfect getaway. For two (2) days my husband was totally relax and was in good hands of the Flagship Resort.

We had a bad experience at Phillips Seafood Restaurant. Chicken was ordered for a meal and it was not done throughout. It was returned and we had a manager tell us it was organic chicken and it was ok for it to be bloody. They did however give the meal at half off. Recommend you not eat chicken at this restaurant.

Great location for the price
Farmer B Sep 14, 2009
Our room was wonderful. It was oceanside view with a balcony, we were able to watch people fish from the rocks, drive on the ... beach across the way. We were taken to Bally's by the Flagship's shuttle at no charge and return to our hotel room as well. Our stay in Atlantic City was wonderful and we are looking forward to going back soon. We had lunch at Rainforest Cafe on one of our days, even though we didn't have children with us, this cafe is child friendly. We also went to the Borgata and Harrah's by way of the Jitney shuttle (Cost was $2.25 per person). We walked alot, played some slots, and had a very enjoyable, relaxing vacation.

it was a beautiful hotel, just far enough away from the casinos to be quiet, close enough to be convenient, shuttle service ... every hour to bally's. however there were several very long (and very visible) long dark hairs in the room, in the covers, bathtub, dresser drawers, eeeewww but not horrible, also the rooms did not have individual thermostats and we were freezing, had to keep patio doors open to stay comfortable (screens would have been so nice), advertised in room wireless does not work, works in lobby so again not horrible, i wouldnt stay there but for others could be a great stay, next time i'll pay a little extra and stay in casino hotel

This was a terrible experience and not worth a penny of the money I spent to stay here. The location is really far off from ... everything. The room was definitely dated and smelled old. The bathroom was cleaned, but there were small hairs on the floor and on the towels! The shower was mildewy. And when I pulled back the bed covers, there was this disgusting stain on the pillow. The 'outdoor' pool is actually indoors, and the 'sundeck' is this small balcony on the 7th floor that gets no sun. We ended up driving home at 3 am because we couldn't take staying here. DO NOT stay here.

Nothing to rant or rave about
Sal Jul 26, 2009
The hotel was ok, nothing to rant or rave about. Large room with a nice view, but I wasn't fond of the bathroom. The room was ... freezing and the a/c was hard to operate. The elavator was having issues at checkout, so after a 15 minute wait, I enjoyed a 26 floor walk down the stairs. The location is ok, but not great. Overall, it was ok, but with all the other options in the city, it's my first and last stay at the Flagship. I stayed at The Chelsea a couple of weeks ago and would highly reccomend it over Flagship.

The Flagship is about 3mins from the boardwalk. It caters to the children which is great when u take the kids on vacation. ... The room was great, the food was good and the activities for the kids were non stop. I must say I have no complaints and would go back anytime.

Not so great
Happy Jun 1, 2009
The staff were friendly, but not helpful. The place is run down and out dated, especially for the price. There was an "extra" ... charge for everything, parking, safe deposit, the food was expensive. The room was "not so nice" and had an odor to it. We were on the 22nd floor and could hear noise in the hall way and outside at all times of the day and night. The hotel is pretty far off of the strip, and the boardwalk and area around it was falling appart and not a great part of town. I would not go back.

Satisfied May 11, 2009
Great view from balcony! Jacuzzi and pool great - open until 10:00 pm. Jacuzzi large with hot water. Easily sits 15 people. ... Pool water was warm. Room large and clean. Looks just like the pictures. Game room nice for kids. Showboat and Trump Plaza short walk. Pier with amusement rides and main boardwalk very short walk from hotel. We walked everywhere. Didn't need a taxi. Parking garage was great. We drove to eat for late night snack. Regular shuttle to Bally's. Neighborhood improved - fine to walk through at night. Dining choices limited. Didn't try the hotel restaraunt. Willl definitely stay here again!

Lack of Luster in A.C.
JC May 11, 2009
The hotel was a last minute A.C. trip with my brother and 2 friends. I have to say that the view of the ocean was ... spectacular, but thats really where the compliments end. It was located as far as you could get from the A.C. strip. These Hotel is also a "time share" and it wasn't 5 minutes after we entered the room before we received a call asking us to attend a "time share" seminar????? Never had that happen before. Did offer shuttle service, but we couldn't figure out the schedule and took a cab. You could walk, but you have to go thru some shady areas. The hotel/rooms seemed outdated and kinda dirty. Did have a small kithcenette with frig. Front door walking in looked like it had 2 weeks worth of hand prints, and other sticky substances. yuck! Had to pay seperate for parking.

My husband and I just wanted to get away for an extended weekend and we took our 4 yr old son for two nights and we went out ... on the third night. Its was very clean and staff was helpful in getting information on the Jitney, which was cheap to get around. Our son loved the game and activity rooms. Great for kids!!!! Its not a busy area so it was quiet and we had a nice view of the water. We will return.

LVNV Mar 3, 2009
The hotel was fine for the price, however, the ratings on Orbitz said the hotel was a four star hotel - IT WAS NOT!!.. If ... you're looking for a decent value for a hotel that's not too far from the strip, then this is OK.. But this hotel is not high end by any means..

All Atlantic City casinos are within a short drive. Just hop in a cab and tell them where you want to go, and it should be around $10.

--TERI, USA May 26, 2008
There is a shuttle that takes you to Ballys Casino which is central but if you are going for bars, clubs, or resturants you probably want to go to the Quarter, located inside the Tropicana. In this case I would take a cab there - only about $10 including tip. The walk from Ballys to the Trop. is still pretty long
