Mighty Q Aug 10, 2009
There was only one ICE machine and it was broke, they did not fix it for two days I was there. Web site said they had ... wireless, but it was only in the lobby and the cable modem needed to be reset several times. Second day pool and hot tub were cloudy and did not look desirable enough to use. Keys for door are made of metal vice electronic card. Windows in the room did not open, had to go downstairs and outside to determine temperature and what to wear. Room was stuffy. TV was fuzzy on most channels. Good location.

Dated hotel with no internet connection
Jared Aug 9, 2009
The pictures don't really show how old the hotel is and how old it feels. It is really dated and there was no internet ... access. If we ever go to Niagara Falls again, we will stay somewhere else, even if we have to pay a little more, to get something more updated. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is close to the falls, but there are so many other hotels in the same location I'm sure we could get something nicer for roughly the same price.

The cable was iffy a movie would stop half way through then start over.... the hot tub was confusing to start.... no wireless ... internet in the room but only in the lobby..... the carpets seemed to be in need of replacement.... they attempted to charge us for late check out. I guess for the price this is what i should expect, however i'm sure that the hotel can change some stuff.

Niagara Falls Vacation
Millie Jul 30, 2009
This wasn't the nicest hotel we stayed in, but it certainly wasn't the worst! It was close to the falls, the staff was ... friendly and helpful. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. I liked the firm beds. The rooms look a bit worn and need some updating, and there weren't many channels on TV. The price was right. I'd probably stay there again.

NEVER AGAIN!
traveller Jul 28, 2009
The pool area was disgusting (Excessive hair, leaves & garbage in hot tub and pool, green algae on the side of the pool, ... water damage on ceiling, half-eaten KFC laying around, muddy pool deck), very poor tv reception, poor water pressure, moldy shower curtain, carpet was stained beyond belief, broken iron (replacement iron left white powder on our clothes), broken ironing board, tripped fuses, very small towels, poor room lighting, poor attitude from front desk and cleaning staff, parking was free but spaces are limited. WHAT A DUMP!

so very loud!
Travel Two Jul 26, 2009
The location was decent and the staff was very friendly and nice. The room, unfortunately, had a large amount of water ... pooling on the floor from the large window (condensation) and the air conditioner. The shower had hair in it when we arrived. I did not have high expectations for this hotel because it was really cheap online. But some things are just basic, like cable. Only two channels were clear enough to watch. This hotel is VERY noisy. Our room faced a busy street and between the constant traffic, screaming children, family talking loudly in the hallway, and the drunken revelers returning at 3 a.m., I hardly got any sleep at all. It would have been worth it to spend more and stay at a slightly nicer (and quieter) place. Thankfully we were only staying one night.

Location is good. Not too far to walk to any attractions. Wish the breakfast would be included in the fee. Rooms were nice ... and comfortable. Pool area looked nice, but didn't get a chance to use it. TV reception wasn't very good. Only a couple of channels. Bring a big wallet. Things are very pricy around here (attractions, entertainment, food), especially if you have a family.

P and V Jul 19, 2009
On arrival, we found we had been assigned a non-smoking room. They switched us to a smoking room on request, and even added ... a free upgrade to a jacuzzi. Nice little restaurant attached with decent prices. The bar is no longer in use. TV signal was pretty weak, but we didn't watch much TV there anyway. Nice cheap alternative to the newer, more expensive hirise's surrounding the fallsview area. They wouldn't provide a receipt on signout. They said it was 'all taken care of by Orbitz; you don't get a receipt here, get it from them.' Other hotels always provide an itemized receipt for taxes - I don't know what their problem was.

Everything was in walking distance. From the motel everything is down hill mostly. We walked all around the falls and attraction. We did end up taking Taxi back at end of day because we were tired and the walk back was all up hill.
--Just Us, Shippensburg Pa Apr 25, 2009
Taxi cap fee hint. A cab driver once told us it only cost $8 from everywhere the vicintiy of the falls. So make sure you complain if it is more, some cab drivers will charge you more if you are going to the Casino.
