Perfect location just off the highway, at a convenient distance from Milwaukee. Plenty of space, excellent price. The only ... (minor) downside was a strange smell from the kitchenette, but, to begin with, it was already a big asset to have a kitchenette!

I did like the convenience of having a kitchenette, but once I checked in, I paid online in advance for 2 days, a queen bed, ... for separate nights, I took care of the 2 nights so that there would not be a problem later as far as checking out of one room to go to another. I did not get a queen, but 2 full beds, and then I get a call at 7:30am the 2nd morning, asking if I were staying another night,that was annoying as hell! Do you not talk to one another or look at the notations? Very fustrating for a person on vacation. The explanation given for not having a queen bed, was poor, and this information should be known prior to booking with this hotel. I was not happy about it and doubt I will ever stay at one again.

Extended Stay America Milwaukee - Wauwatosa is in a nice neighborhood with easy access to Drug stores, a mall, restaurants ... and even a Best Buy. Easy access to highways too. Don't expect to be pampered, But this is a great deal when you're looking to stay a few nights. The stove, fridge, sink and microwave make eat in breakfast or a light dinner very convenient.

Go under the railroad to the big intersection, you'll find everything along that main road.
