Good location. Away from strip .

Parking was about 10 feet from rooms. Smoke free environment. No large lobby. Speedy check in and check out process. Having ... a full size kitchen was very helpful. Because I came from California, I brought along a cooler with enough food for meals for the duration of my three night stay. Thus I saved on meals. Therefore I spend absolutely nothing on food.

The hotel provided a great 1 bedroom suite with full kitchen and living room for a very reasonable price. It is located only ... 5 min. from the Strip @ Tropicana (MGM Grand, New York - New York, the new City Center). And it is located next door to the Orleens. The rating for Dining should be N/A (there are no dining facilities).

Not bad for short stay
Travel family Jun 2, 2009
We liked staying somewhere other than a casino! We got a good rate, room was comfortable, but you needed to ask for some ... services. The kitchen had dishes, but no pans to cook with. We had to ask to have them brought to us. We had no soap for the dishwasher, but were told that housecleaning would run it for us. Then, they didn't, and we had to ask for soap and run it ourselves. OK for a short stay, but would have been frustrating if we had been there longer than 3 days. They were very good at giving us directions to things around town!

My experience at this hotel was comfortable, all except the first night. A group of teenagers found a way to rent a room and ... had a loud party. That was very dissatisfying to me. Other than that the room was clean and I would recommend this hotel to my clients for a reasonable cost stay.

This hotel is far enough away from the strip and major roadways that it is a quiet place to stay, if you want to stay out of ... the Vegas hustle. It is close to the strip and other attractions, but you should have a rental car to take full advantage. Nice to have a kitchen if you want to make your own breakfast.

Thomas Jun 17, 2007
The Emerald Suites Cameron is a very good hotel value, especially for Las Vegas. Across the street from the Orleans, the ... location is prett convenient and the gambling at the Orleans is readily accessible. The check-in staff was very friendly and the upkeep of the hotel is very nice. For the economical price of a stay, you get a balcony or patio, bedroom, living room, dining room, bathroom and full kitchen. My only complaint was the noise level could be high at times. The walls aren't that thick, but overall it was a great hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

This Emerald Suites was like a small Time Share. For seniors who had rented a car, it worked out great. We spend very little ... time in our room, so we didn't need a fancy hotel room on the Strip. It was kind of old, but the roominess and great price more than compensated.
