It might seem like a risk to venture away from steaks at Ruth's Chris, but the risk will be rewarded. Try our Market Fresh Seafood selection, cooked to perfection. Or the popular Ahi Tuna Stack, seared rare, topped with Colossal lump crabmeat and served sizzling with red pepper pesto. There's even something for vegetarians with our Grilled Portobello Mushrooms - marinated Portobello mushrooms on fluffy garlic mashed potatoes with grilled asparagus, broccoli, tomatoes and sizzling lemon butter. At Ruth's Chris, steak is king, but the royal family is large. All decisions should be this difficult.

Excellent stay!
John Nov 22, 2009
This hotel is a great place to stay while visiting. They offer free breakfast. We did not experience any long lines or ... waiting for breakfast. Everything tasted great! The all staff members were super friendly. From the valet drivers, to the bell staff, to the front desk staff, and even to the cleaning personnel. All very friendly. The only issue I had with this hotel, which was resolved within 5 minutes of calling the front desk was internet service in my room. For a whole day, I talked with tech support that was the hotel rooms ISP and they were unable to resolve it. I called the front desk and they sent someone up and it was fixed right away.

If visiting Oahu, I would recommend getting a Go Oahu card. It costs money to buy, but if you end up doing just a few activities that come with the card you will save a lot of money. My wife and I used those cards and we did so many activities and saved so much money!

Breakfast and Manager's Reception (no entertainment) was good and the room was exceptional. The cleanest room I have ever ... stayed in and very quiet even though family hotel (19th floor). Would like to see another pool or larger one for the hotel size. Would stay her again for sure close to everything.

THings were not explained to us at check-in. Use the assistance at the lobby desk and not the travel assistants at the breakfast/pool area. They are different companies and you are not aware that they are NOT staff of the Embassy but a travel company at the pool area. Better deals in the lobby for the most part. Just be wise and know that you are dealing with travel folks and not hotel staff. They are very friendly and helpful but not Embassy Suite staff.

Nice accomodations - no view
First time tourist to Hawaii May 2, 2009
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms clean, quiet, and nice pool/bar area with very nice breakfast every morning with great ... hours for travelers to head out exploring early. It is off the beach area so no feeling of being in Hawaii or near water. The trump tower is under construction and blocks what appeared to have been a gorgeous view of the ocean. However for the amount of time we spent in the hotel that was not a negative for us. Impressive places on the beach itself if you are looking to lounge on the beach.

Royal Treatment
very satified lady Apr 22, 2009
while I was staying at the Embassy Suite Waikiki, I got up each morning and headed to their well rounded exercise room. ... After, exercising for an hour, I went back to the room and showered and dressed for breakfast. Breakfast was cooked to order, there was also fruit, and vegetable salad available, and as large a variety of drinks as anyone could wish for. My husband and son loved it! The security was very good, you needed a room key to access any floor. The manger's reception each afternoon was also a treat. The menu consisted of chips/vegetable with dips, drinks, alcohol included. this was held pool side each evening from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The view of the beach from our balcany was awsome. Family members that came to visit our room were really, us also, impressed with our view of the ocean. If I should ever visit Hawaii again I would stay in the same hotel, room etc.

Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk
LeeBarbD Mar 3, 2009
Wanted to spend a week in the warm weather. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, but the hotel was nice. Excellent ... complimentary breakfast and cocktail reception. It was just a quick little walk over to the beach. The only negative - the room could have been cleaned better during our stay. Not to say that it was dirty, but I think the cleaning service could have done a better job in the bathroom.

This is a great hotel right in the middle of Waikiki. You're close to everything. The beach is a block away, there are some ... great restaurants and shopping at the Beachwalk, but most importantly you're near all the action in Waikiki. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice accomodations
Diana Sep 9, 2008
At first the juice served to you as you are checking in is rather nice. The customer service or friendliness lacks just a ... bit. The valets that get your bags to your room are quite nice and I guess they make up for the check in representatives. The hotel room accommodations are very very nice and spacious wish they could have utensils and bowls in the wet bar area but as far as the room it is nice. Not much of a view from the standard point of view but the rooms are nice. The pool is always occupied with the children and families I wish there could've been an adult only pool but oh well or a time frame for children and then adults. Also and the biggy is the beach has no lounge chairs reserved for Embassy guests only. at a different location there was reserved lounge chairs for the hotel guest only so I thought Embassy could have done the same. The front reception area is always a pain to get to because you had to walk all the way around if you were in the other building. One other question asked to the concierge was why the breakfast is only served till 9:30am or 10:00am if that is the only meal served at this hotel and people sometimes party and stay out late it certainly be nice till at least 11:00am Nonetheless the hotel is in an absolutely awesome location and it was a very pleasant stay!!

Great place, Pity about the construction next door
Glen Dec 4, 2007
Great place, Pity about the construction next door. I paid an extra $50 for a partial ocean view and was looking out thru 2 ... cranes from a soon-to-be taller Trump condo building next door. I was on the 10th floor so maybe the highest rooms still can look over the cranes, but that won't be for long. Having said that, everything else was great. Full breakfasts is a great way to start off, but they should let it go later instead of shutting down at 10:00 AM. Great staff and you gotta try Roy's right on the corner for great staff and delicious food.

My review of Embassy Suites Hotel - Waikiki Beach Walk
Piper Jun 26, 2007
very nice hotel, conviently located, very friendly check-in staff. Housekeeping staff very noisy in hallway early in ... the mornings, halls cluttered with room service trays from day/evening before. A female housekeeping staff had towels laid out on hallfloor. This was a first I had ever seen. Front desk was not receptive to any comments concerning housekeeping staff. Noise continued for remainder of staff. If it weren't for the housekeeping staff, I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to friends or collegues. Also, I had family call twice to the hotel, and was told I had not check-in. This was 3 days after being there at the hotel. Called front desk, and was told that was impossible. I find it hard to believe that two different family members called the same hotel number that they had called prior getting me on the phone, and then all of a sudden I never checked-in????

Ideal Location
Elena Jun 18, 2007
The location of this hotel was very accessible to Waikiki, the beach and local restaurants. The Hula tower was great because ... it overlooked the pool, bar and dining area and enabled us to listen to the nighttime music. One drawback was the construction of the Trump Tower adjacent to our hotel. When the 40 room+ Trump Tower is completed it will enclose the Embassy Suites and give very limited oceanviews. Nearly all the employees were wonderful and very gracious. Breakfast was great with a large variety of choices and the evening reception was very enjoyable with good entertaining music and hula. It's a great place for families with the two room accommodations and the mini kitchen. Providing the Trump Tower doesn't enclose the hotel I would consider staying there again.
