Spacious and quiet

Perfect central location- We visited St. Petersburg and North Tampa throughout the trip, and this hotel was the perfect ... central spot to return to at night. Great manager's reception (happy hour) every day! Beer, wine, well cocktails... doesn't get any better. Friendly staff and the line was never long for a drink. Tasty little appetizers each day too; every day had something different. Beautiful, large pool Very spacious rooms-- almost too much space! Clean, too Delicious, big, breakfasts. Thanks to the big breakfasts I gained a couple pounds on the trip. Van service takes you anywhere in a 3 mile radius for free..and the Westshore mall was across the street, as well at the "famous" International Plaza was only 1/2 mile away.

Shower did not work, had to change rooms. Walls are very thin, could hear our neighbors through our bedroom wall. The extra ... money you pay for a balcony and Bay view is not worth it. The balcony was half the size of the bathroom, not worth it. Otherwise, the stay was pleasant and the breakfast is really good.

I rented 3 rooms for about $91.00 ea. I was charged >$150.00 because of the Orbitz sign up system. I doubt that I will ever rent a hotel again through Orbitz. I only need one of this type overcharge. Also, I did not get Honors points.

Solid, but not Spectacular

This hotel is a solid place to stay. The location is fantastic for getting around the Tampa area, and even has a shopping ... mall right across the street. The food is great, and as always, Embassy Suites has great, free breakfast. The rooms are clean and have a suite design with lots of room. Hotel staff could have been a little more friendly and helpful with directions, and there is nothing else especially great about the site, but it is a solid place to stay. I would likely stay again.

Embassy Suite is very comfortabe place to stay when away from your home. Amenities well warranted and the staff was quite ... pleasant from arrival until checkout. The location is very safe and good, close to shopping and minutes away from the airport and other places of entress. Yes I would always use Embassy Suites as my place rest when on travel.
