Extremely CLEAN, FRIENDLY Staff A+++++++

The room that we received was great. The staff at the hotel were super friendly and informative. The only thing that I did ... not like, was they charge $9.95 a day for internet, if the WiFi would have been free, i'd rate this hotel 100 out of 100. Honestly this was the cleanest, most well kept hotel i've ever stayed in. Our room rate was $139 through Orbits, the non-Orbits price for the room was $229, and would have been worth it! This hotel even has live ducks, in the atrium, not just in the fountain like the Peabody. Now for the perks... Between 5:30pm - 7:30pm, they have a Managers Reception. This includes pretty much all the FREE drinks you could ask for. They have three types of Beer on tap, and plenty of variety of hard liquor. They also had Cheese, and party mix. ALL FOR FREE!!! Now let me tell you about breakfast... They offer a large assortment of breakfast, that is included in your room price. Here is a small list: Scrambled Eggs, Sausage Links, Bacon, Hashbrowns, COOK TO ORDER OMLETS & PANCAKES. They also had a variety of muffins, bagels, doughnuts, cerals, Toast, english muffins, assorted coffee's and teas, milk, orange juice, and even a WAFFLE maker!. I've never had a breakfast buffet this good! It was superb!

This hotel is about 20 minutes from Downtown Memphis. The hotel staff offered to drop us off in Downtown, and arrange to pick us up! I've never had that service offered, not even in a $500.00 a night hotel. The short drive is not bad as long as you have a designated driver. Memphis has too many police to drink and drive.

Embassy Suites - Memphis
Jim Sep 27, 2008
Embassy Suite is always the same, no matter where you stay. I have stayed in an Embassy Suites from Seattle to Atlanta. They ... are consistantly great. All areas are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The room was what was expected. The only downer for the trip was TV channel selections. No pay for view at this facility. Over all it was a relly good stay.

The Embassy Suites in Memphis was an excellent hotel. The morning breakfast was very good, and the afternoon cocktail hour ... was great way to relax after a long day of shopping or sight seeing. The room was very clean and any extras that we needed the housekeeping dept. gadly brought to us. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Neelys' restaurant was about three miles away from the hotel. I had seen the Neelys on the food network and wanted to try their restaurant. It was very good.

My review of Embassy Suites Memphis
CATHY Apr 21, 2008
I travel a lot at least twice a month, and I must say this was the first hotel I've been to where the staff made me feel like ... they were family members. The breakfast hostess was so sweet I just wanted to hug her and call her auntie.... If you're looking for a place where everyone wears a smile and bend over backwards to make sure you're comfy, then this is the place for you. The rooms were very impressive, w/ ebony hardwood floors and cool red base lamps in bedroom, the painting in the rooms were cool as well, the bathroom had a fabulous granite counter top, they tell me that they may be getting plasma tvs, either way I had a great stay which was also quite comfortable, I'd definately, and have recommended this hotel to friends and family.

The shops next door to hotel seems a little over priced, a short shuttle ride to mall was well worth it, I came home with lots of goodies for friends and family.
