I have never had an experience this unsatisfactory in all of my travels. When my friend and I arrived at the hotel there was ... simply a sign placed on the door which read "Due to fire all reservations were cancelled." This is fine as long as I am given advanced warning, I understand there are situations we cannot control, but without any warning I found myself in a strange city at 7:00 p.m. with no hotel. This can only serve to demonstrate the complete lack of customer service provided by the Econolodge. I would never refer anyone I know to this establishment. I am employed by an airline and so therefore I am familiar with travel, and this is by no means the way to run any type of successful hotel.

Try the Cave of the Winds early in the morning as there's only one elevator for this viewing. Also, the Information center close to First street/Rainbow Blvd does not have a restroom for the public!!!!

We were looking for something inexpensive & we found this. It was clean, and quiet. But VERY small, and parking was ... HORRBILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We drove around forever looking for a parking place, and the desk clerk's only suggestion was to wait until the India resturant closed and freed up spaces.

Although I don't hold a great view of EconoLodge, we chose to stay at this one because of the great location (and yes, the ... location is very good) and because other hotels nearby were full. I'm sorry to say that even though my expectations were low, we were still disappointed. We had dirty towels and stains on the sheets. In general, the room seemed in need of better upkeep. The free "breakfast" had limited selection, and was put away earlier than we expected. We would love to go back to Niagara, but we won't go back to this hotel.

The rooms were good, nothing special. Clean and quiet. The service was friendly and helpful. About a 10 minute walk to the ... falls and almost across the street from the casino. Must see the rapids and falls at night. Will recommend to friends and we will stay there again.

It served the purpose of the trip to relax and walk over multiple times to the NIAGARA FALLS... well.. this is the cheapest ... place in town and doesnt get better than this for the amount of money. Breakfast was a nice unexpected variety offering.. Go for this place if you wanna save some lodging dollars :o)

We made our trip on the Labor day weekend. Stayed overnight Friday. Pros: 1. The staff was very helpful. 2. The place is in ... very close proximity to the Falls and other attractions. 3. They allowed us to park for a few hours beyond our checkout time, as we had planned our tour for Saturday (we checked in Friday night and checked out Saturday morning.) Cons: 1. Room is decent; not exceptionally clean. 2. Strong Indian cooking smell. Apparently, this hotel is part of an Indian restaurant. 3. Pricy for the quality -- definitely not worth more than $60 bucks a night, even with proximity considered. We paid $104 total. Would recommend the place for one night, perhaps two, if it is only required for the night. Fridge is in every room, but no microwave (probably available at the lobby.)
