The hotel is drab, but the location adjacent to the airport is superb. The airport shuttle is convenient. The real issue ... for me was their refusal to honor the published 14 day free parking advertised on Orbitz. The woman at thefront desk said that Orbitz was wrong to say that and should take it off their site. I told her that amenity was the only ereason I had picked this hotel. She was unmoved.

Get a bit of Canadian money ahead of time to be able to make telephone calls. Get a calling card when you get there or use a Verizon cell phone that uses the same minutes for Canada or USA (International plan)

Clean and Quiet
worldtraveler Jul 16, 2009
I just needed a place to stay during a layover, and this hotel fit the bill. Free and very quick airport shuttle, ... restaurants on location, and a responsive staff. If you have a lot of luggage, make sure to ask for a ground floor room because the hotel doesn't have an elevator.

beautiful, smelled good, veranda!
Reliv Lady Jun 17, 2009
I really enjoyed the meal on the Veranda. The smell of the hotel when we arrived was nice and it was so pretty on the inside. ... The woodwork was beautiful. Seemed like a jumping place if you want to party and a quiet place to sleep.

No breakfast served
Fumiko Aug 3, 2008
Check-in was done very friendly. The receptionist gave me a voucher for the breakfast next morning starting at 6:30AM. When ... I went to the cafeteria on the morning, waited for 25 minutes, no kitchen staff showed up. More than a dozen guests including children came to the cafeteria for breakfast by 6:55 AM. Everyone including me was very disappointed by the no-show of the kitchen staff on that morning. So I left the hotel to go to the airport at 7AM. I was very disappointed by the management which did not have any provision to accommodate such a mishap.

Good for Toronto airport
Robert May 15, 2007
Good place to stay if you are flying out of Toronto (Pearson). Not your typical Econolodge (better rooms, facilities and ... standards), full service resptaurant, etc. For an extra $30 (Candian) you can park there for up to 2 weeks, and take their shuttle to/ from the airport. Can't beat that!
