In the center of everything. You can walk to numerous resturants. Howl at the Moon, a great place to listen to music and ... sing along right across the street. We actually planned our trip around this bar because its so much fun. The only bad part was the room. I dont know what causes it but when you get in a old hotel, the room is so damp that you actually feel like the sheets are wet, even though the air conditioner was on.

My stay there was very short, but very fullfilling. We went to Hollywood Horror Night in Universal Studios and we loved it. ... Hotel with excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff. The only regret is not being able to stay longer!

This is our 2nd visit to this hotel and it serves the purpose for what we need. The location is absolutely perfect because ... we come to Orlando to go to "Howl @ the Moon" piano bar across the street. We like it because we do not have to drive we can walk. As for the rooms, it's no Ritz but for the price, they are pretty nice. The pillows leave a lot to be desired but everything else was good. We couldn't find a vending machine that worked but that won't keep us from coming back.

It was an OK hotel for the price. Bathroom needs to be updated. They had sheets as blankets and bath towels that felt like ... toilet tissue very hard and cheap feel to them. They staff was nice. The rooms were spacious. One suggestion if you stay there make sure you top everything up. We found sugar ants at the sink/coffee/ice area.

At $35. it was a great price. We drove over from the gulf side to fly out of Orlando. However our room was on the Rt. 4 side ... which was quite noisy! The first room we had there were no drapes! Engineering was suppose to come up but after an hour and no show we asked for a new room. That room was next door and the air conditioner was extremely noisy! I will select a hotel more carefully next time.

We arrived at 11:30 pm after seeing a show at The House of Blues in orlando. The room was musty smelling. We hurried up to ... get to the Jacuzzi before it closed. The chlorine burn our eyes so bad we had to leave and we had not even got our heads wet. We got back to the room only to discover that we had a non functioning tv until it warmed up for 15 minutes then we discovered the remote did not work. We called the desk for a code to make the remote work or to bring us a new one and were told sorry thats maintenances problem. No breakfast but they give you a coupon for 3.99 all you can eat at ponderosa and that sounded like a good deal until we got there and found out that is the everyday price and if you want eggs its $2 more.

Perfect weekend stay!!!

We went for a short weekend getaway and had the best time at this hotel. The staff was amazing and service was fast and ... friendly. The rooms were large and very clean! We had a flat screen tv in our room and all rooms were very accessible to the pool. The lobby offered computers with internet access as well as wireless throughout the entire hotel. There was a store in the lobby that offered all necessities and I have to say again that the staff was super courteous and helpful. We did not attend any theme parks during our stay, but I did notice that they had few buses to and from all of the attractions. This was the best place to stay in the area for the price!

First off my room did not have all the amenities stated. Then the A/C barely worked and when it was on it made a horrible ... noise. Between the A/C and I-4 being right next us I barely got any sleep.

I got everything I wanted in the room. ie. microwave, fridge, pool view, coffee maker, iron/board. Really affordable for the ... size of room. Cleaning crew was usually a little early but very pleasant ladies. Free internet was great. Delta shower head was the best. Plenty of hot water and pressure.

My experience was very pleasant, the room was upgraded with a fresh look, the beds were very comfortable and having coffee ... and a clock radio to help me get up in the morning was helpful, I really enjoyed my stay the staff is very helpful and friendly. Only thing that would make more helpful is earlier check in 4pm just to late.

Experiance was good but the rugs were nasty. you have to leave the air at 60 any lower and there will be a bad odor and ... everything will feel wet and humid including the rugs, beds, covers, pillows, towel even your own clothes its nasty. other than that our stay was good.

If you come out on International Drive and turn to your left, about a mile walk there's an outlet store with great prices. I'm not sure of the name but it worth the walk it has the best prices. There's a souvenir shop wright across the street from the Econo logde they also have good prices and a small grocery store write next it. It's not visible if you look across the street it's behind a building. We walk a little to our left right in front of Friendly's and you should be able to see a sign if not just cross the street and take a look. It's cheaper than the one next to Ponderosa.
