always a safe choice
Bob Jun 16, 2009
I have stayed at the Eaton many times, and it is always a safe choice. The location is in a good part of Kowloon - very ... close to the airport bus stop, near the Temple Street market, and not very far from the Jordan metro station. The hotel itself is fine - the rooms are small, but all are in HK. One thing I noticed on this trip is that less expensive rooms have bathtubs and showers while the "upgraded" rooms have only showers. The one problem with the place is the cost of the in-room internet. One day of internet costs HKD 130, which is the reason that I do not stay here more often. I have never experienced any problems with the Eaton Hotel, and can recommend it.

Hotel was nice
g May 22, 2009
We had a 24 hour stopover in Hong Kong. The people there are not the most friendly. The hotel was very nice and ... affordable. We did have to change rooms because the lights wouldn't turn off in our room, but they gave us a free upgrade so it wasn't that big of a deal. Concierge was very helpful. Check in, check out was not so friendly.

Nice hotel
Sarah Nov 26, 2008
The Eaton Hotel Hong Kong was a pleasant surprise. Very good value; rooms a bit on the small size but with a nice touch of ... modern elegance. Staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the Temple Street Night market and nicely located on Nathan Road, which allows a nice stroll to some nearby shops as well as a short walk to the Jordan metro station. Was nice to have a free shuttle bus to the Airport Express Station

The Temple Street Night Market is a few blocks away. The MTR-Jordan Station is a closeby and convenient.

MTR and a long-ish walk from the MongKok shopping area, Langham Place, and the MongKok China Travel Service where you can get China visas.

The temple street night market not just for shopping, also for good food at short walking distant.

My review of Eaton Hotel Hong Kong
Anita Nov 20, 2008
We were upgraded to a suite, which was very nice for our honeymoon. The mattress in our suite was horrible. It is the most ... firm mattress ever. I had to resort to sleeping on the couch.

Great location, quality, and price.

Great location near the MongKok CTS and two MTR stations. Excellent and reasonably priced dining options. Workout ... room is more than adequate. Definitely where I'll stay the next time I'm in Hong Kong.

Convenient Location with easy access to food, shopping, transportation
Samuel Sep 22, 2008
Located in Jordan District which is between Tsim Sha Tsui District and Mongkok District. All 3 districts have great food and ... shopping. The hotel has been recently upgraded with 24 hour internet in the cafe. The pool is awesome and the fitness center is open 24 hours. The room is clean and modern with 2 bottles of water provided daily. Free local calls with lobby phone.

But for the renovation going on above and next door to our room, which was quite loud I would otherwise consider the Eaton ... Hotel lovely and convenient.

Waiting for construction to complete
Stephen Jan 24, 2008
The Club floor center was one of the poorest I have used. I spend 45% of my time in Asia hotels. Additionally I travel ... with a required piece of breathing equipment needed during my sleep. Although I liked the separate bedroom in the suite the fact that there was not even one available electrical outlet in the room! I uas in one of the hotels better suites and ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room.
