Would stay there again in an instant!

The Doubletree sits in the heart of downtown Houston. It is a sumptuous, subtle hotel with beautiful appointments and an ... incredible staff. We ate at the restaurant downstairs and also had room service. Both were wonderful. I highly recommend the cheesecake. Parking was not a problem with onsite valet and was reasonably priced for a downtown hotel. From the warm cookies at check-in to the last good-bye at departure, I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling as a couple or on business. You won't be disappointed.

Room service is reasonably priced and if you've had a long day traveling or working, it's a nice little perk to give yourself. (18% tip and $2.50 upcharge...not bad.)

Great location - great price
Gran Aug 8, 2009
The car service to venues is great. The hotel room was all that we needed and wanted. The coffee pot didn't work properly was ... good enough. We had been paying 300% more for a hotel in the area and we now feel that the Doubletree is the hotel we will use in the future.
