Hotel staff was very friendly.Superfast check-in/out.We felt our AC was not working as strong during the night and the hotel ... staff gave us coupons for free buffet breakfast at the hotel restaurant to make up, as it was too late in the night when we called to have someone come up and look at it. Hotel located a short walk from Universal Resort.The pool isn't crowded and the rooms are very spacious.

City Walk at Universal is great spot with great places to eat, drink and people watch, with Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville my favourite for good food and drink and a free floorshow ( not Vegas but still entertaining ) it's a bit longer than the short walk you are told from Doubletree so take the town car for 4/5 dollars

This is a very good hotel in a great location. I have stayed here before and the service is always great. The problem I ... have is that I paid for a park view room and when I arrived I was told that there were no more park view rooms left. I was given a $25.00 food and beverage comp but that really didn't equal the difference in the cost of the room. Of course the hotel couldn't refund the difference because I paid through Orbitz so now I am just stuck. Great location though, close to eveything and Adventure Island is right accross the street. The $12.00 per night parking is what will keep me from staying there again and I am not sure if I will book through Orbitz again. That way, I will get my refund back.

from the warm chocolate chip cookies on arrival to the Carnivale bar with excellent staff and delicious cocktails there was ... nothin "not to like" during our short 3 night stay in this hotel.The foodcourt provided an excellent buffet breakfast which would set you up for the day for only 17.95.Overall it was a very pleasant eperience and the perfect location for our visit to Universal Studios and the nightlife of City Walk with free shuttles available daytime and town cars in the evening for only 4 or 5 dollars.

This hotel is really close to Universal. Clean rooms and not pricey but the rooms are a bit small. A lot of families at the ... hotel and pool. Although the rates are low, you have to pay for parking and internet for your room. Friendly staff.

We would stay there again if going to Universal Studios. Everything was very nice in this hotel. The refrig. never cooled ... anything down, stayed around 58 degrees on the coolest setting. Beds were comfy and clean, bathroom was fine we had the handicapp version, and we have no need for that, no issues either.

I enjoyed my stay at the Doubletree. It was very relaxing and the personel was Wonderful. I first checked in on Wed. night ... and received a Handicap room but was changed the next day to a regular room as there were no regular rooms the first day i checked in. The regular room was given to me the next with no questions asked. The staff is very nice and friendly. Great experience staying at the Doubletree.

Nice hotel with the most comfortable beds. Located across the street from Universal Orlando and offers shuttles throughout ... the day to area theme parks. Bad thing: They charge you $12 a day to park in the hotel parking lot even as a hotel guest.

The DoubleTree is situated within a mile from Universal Studios, with shuttle transportation provided from the hotel. Within walking distance were several restaurants. For those driving, the hotel was easily accessible from I-4.
