We stayed at the hotel as part of a family get-together. The rooms in general were large and well-appointed, and despite ... there being a lot of people at the hotel, it was really quiet. We especially enjoyed having a balcony that was actually large enough to use. On the down side, the TV had poor reception, and was much more complicated to work...although this seemed to be in effort to provide more entertainment options than just the normal channels. A guide would have been very helpful. And you have to ask for dishes for the kitchen if you plan to use them. The kitchen is well-equipped otherwise, including a full stove with oven and a dishwasher, much better than most similar type places I've stayed. Above all, I felt safe at all times.

I was surprised to be given a huge suite when I had only reserved a room for myself. It was obviously a well-decorated ... hospitality suite with a large foyer, full kitchen, dining area/living room, large separate bedroom with a king size bed and bathroom. The front desk clerk was superior and very helpful. I couldn't ask for better. I had plenty of room and slept very well at the Doubletree. I would definitely go back. Great South Park Charlotte NC location! Easy walk/drive to several great restaurants, mall, etc. The kicker was the price I paid for my room. The Doubletree room was a MUCH more impressive than others I've stayed in at similar hotel within the same area. And, the cost was between $35-$25 per night less.

South Park Mall is right next door. Plenty of opportunities to shop and go to very nice restaurants (some of the best in town!) Other wonderful restaurants are close by.

This experience was by far one of the most relaxing in a long while. I was able to conduct business in a most pleasent ... surrounding and when the opportunity allowed, I was able to enjoy the clean and peaseful amenities of the facility and the nearby mall and restaurants. Additionally my clients were impressed with the service and accomidations as well. Great job Dbl tree!

Very service oriented but I prefer real cups for coffee service in the room not paper even if Wolfgang has his picture on ... it. Noise traveled from above and the air conditioner unit but very minor issues. Breakfast service was great but the resturant was closed the evening before sending us over a few blocks down for dinner.

I really loved this hotel. I thought it was absolutely gorgeous and the pool had a beautiful water fountain. It's a nice ... place to stay if you're looking for somewhere quiet, when I was there I thought I was the only one in the hotel for a few days. It's also very nice because the South Park Mall is a 2 minute walk away and has a lot of stuff--including food! One thing I did not like about the hotel was the price of the food they offered there, but it's definitely worth staying at.

The DoubleTree Guest Suites Charlotte was a very good value for the money. Check in/out was very quick with very polite ... staff. The beds were soft /c plenty of pillows. The bedroom was seperated from the bedroom/bath area which was nice as I needed sleep while my father wanted to watch TV. The kitchen was small but adequate. Overall a nice place for the money.

I like the location. The rooms are adequate. However, my room wasn't made up until 4:45 one day and no one at the desk ... seemed to think that was slow. The desk clerk told me they had until five o'clock.

We have stayed in many hotel's but we were so more satisfied with our stay at Double Tree then any hotel we have ever stayed ... at. The room was very comfortable. The bed and pillows was almost like home. We did not eat at the hotel but the dining looked great. We have a dog and were concerned with that but the hotel put us on a bottom floor with a balcony and close to the main entrance so as to having easy access to take her out. Also there was no extra charge for having a dog. The location of the hotel was great. Shopping and food with in walking distance.

I was greeted with a professional a friendly smile...was given the warmest cookies very tasty. Couldn't ask for a better ... place to stay on my min-vacation. Would recommend this hotel to everyone who is visiting North Carolina. The rooms was beautiful it was just like have your own condo. The colors were lovely you didn't feel like you were in the jungle or tooooo much flowers on the wall or bed spread. The location was excellent...walking distance from the mall and restaurants.
